Well, thought I'd give it a try hopefully I've managed to think up something interesting enough for people to want to give a shot.
Background
It is the year 11014, almost 6000 years since the decline of the human empire. An empire that once exploded into the stars, spreading like ink on water, and fueled by technological progress; indeed humanity had advanced to turn the impossible to possible. The invention of the RMCore (Reality Modification Core) allowed humanity to flourish fully, a device capable of turning anything into reality; a device that would also bring about the downfall of humanity. Peace that had lasted since the time of Earth shattered as the Council split to gain individual control of the device. In the end all that remains is echos and rumours of the device and with humanity's numbers dropping to around 10 billion a frantic hunt has began to search for the RMCore.
-------------
You'll each be starting within orbit of a deserted colony planet, its name has been lost to the ages however its surface is covered entirely in a sprawling slowly decaying human city; that appears as if its inhabitants had simply vanished. Your roles are as treasure hunters (either working solo or in teams) who have been hired to seek out the RMCore for various reasons. Most rumours about the RMCore lead to this planet in some way, but obviously no one has found it yet and humanity is in such a state that it struggles to even reach it.

Equipment
The technology level of humanity varies greatly depending on a planet to planet basis, but generally our current technology is the average. Some relics of the past exist but they are uncommon. However each of you has managed to acquire the following somehow.
RmDrive - Supposedly a smaller less advanced mass produced reproduction of the RMCore, this device was created for war and fits into the back of a RmSuit. The RmDrive (Reality manipulation Drive) allows a basic manipulation of reality around the user which is manifested as what could be basically described as magic. It allows telekinetic movement of objects that the wearer would have probably been able to lift by hand anyway, but it's main use is creating lightning or fireballs for combat purposes.
Its power supply needs to charge after each use, so its only possible to be used once per post. It can be used in a second consecutive post if needed, but much weaker.
RmSuit - a light exoskeleton framework which is designed to fit underneath clothing or armour, however that also means that the effects of the RmSuit will pass through whatever the wearer has over it such as gloves. It has no real effect on the wearer's strength nor provides any real protection to them, however the RmSuit can be used to move the wearer's body and improve their strength in that way however as it provides no extra skeletal support that doesn't mean their body would be able to fully handle this added strength.
If there's any interest I'll try to flesh it out a bit more and hopefully it'd get going eventually.
I could probably give more info about the RMCore thing, but in the setting it's meant to be basically unknown.
