So an old RP from 3 years ago that was headed by Ineptus Astartes and was generally popular even when we moved sites. I know it sorta died off, but it was fun and inviting to all types of roleplayers and styles. Along with the ability to be pretty much whatever you want and team up in the unlikeliest teams. It was random and fun, at least from what I remember. I feel it would be a good idea to use to get some attention to ourselves over on Dakka and potentially other RP sites as it is open to all types of toy models. Just an idea, but might bring the kind of fun involved in a over-arching story but with little actual commitment needed.
Yays or Nays? I know I`d be down for it.

I've recently written a story of Tinyhammer as a spin off of the original version but never posted it. How strange to see it appear on the forum anyway An RP version of TH? Sounds interesting. As long as I can make it as humorous as I can, then I'm in.

Exactly, it`d be a very humorous fun story, nothing serious. Ironically my parents just had a house built off custom blueprints so I can actually post up a map this time along with yard and such, but regardless I`d be willing to head it up if needed and if people were interested.

If you want assistance with the storyline writing then let me know. I think it would be fun to have something daft like rescuing comrades from the clutches of the evil sister or even have no storyline but random events to react to and largely weave the story around peoples posts rather than the posts weaving round a story.

I was thinking of the latter option, but having special set in stone events from the beginning. How they will come around might change due to players and their decisions, but they`ll be there none the less. And sure, I`d love help, I`m new to GM`ing so an experienced hand to guide would be much appreciated.

If this is going to be a playpen game then perhaps each time a players forces are killed off ((if they are)) then when the guy buys more Warhammer it can then be introduced back into the room. Heck, lets not limit it to 40K!! Why not stretch out to all genres of GW stuff. I'm now picturing Space Marines riding atop Battlefleet Gothic Cruisers streaking across the carpets Just a thought. Or Bretonia cannons facing off Dark Eldar.

It's a non-serious type of game, if you've ever read the "Turn Signals of a Land Raider" comics then it's basically a form of that. Play the part of minatures who believe and act like their normal sized brothers. Hilarity will ensue.

Y wot m8? Although in all seriousness, mental image of FoW tiger battalion having gunnery duel with IoM battleship is pretty fancy.
