How will character sheets be set out and can we have any age for Vamps?

They'll be set out much like a Rogue Trader/D&D sheet. You'll have your name, age, height, background, etc but will have skills based on the D100 instead of D20. Skills are... one second. Well it looks like I might have tossed my Rogue Trader character sheets. But something like this for stats(not corruption, wounds, etc).

Are you going to generate stats the usual RT way?

If you mean by dice rolls then yes and of course bonuses to some for various backgrounds.

I hope you have a good grasp of the difficulty modifiers, because without them (particularly the positive modifiers for easier tasks that are often over-looked) the typical stat range (30-40) of a RT character isn't great. I'm sure it'll be vastly different depending on species and background etc but even so, don't forget the ever-important situational modifiers!
It also encourages people to play a lot more intelligently if their smart plans have a worthwhile impact on their stat abilities.

I've been working on some of the Difficulty Modifiers, one of my best friends has been playing D&D since he was 7 and has been trying to give me some pointers on difficulty and challenge ratings. But yeah it's like trying to hit a titan right in front of you is easy stuff so you're okay as long as you don't roll a critical failure, but if you're trying to snipe a midget at 1,000 meters using a potato gun then you had better roll a critical.
Seeing as though it's my first time I'll probably be hit or miss on most of the modifiers though, I tend to go with a number and second guess it's difficulty and then make it a bit easier. For the most part if you hit then you hit, the more difficult thing for me would be to make characters and enemies you can realistically kill with a little bit of a challenge.
On a side note; you guys are playing as cops so I would like for players to be able to think more tactically about their actions and not just their fights. One game I played we had stealth, strength, and charisma builds but the strength guy would always ruin opportunities for the other two to do anything in the campaign so we were always in fights. I don't like that so you guys talking to random NPCs will be a thing as well, unless you end up shooting random NPCs for no reason.

Just remember that the modifiers aren't only in combat, they also apply to all the skills too.
This reminds me I need to get my Rogue Trader group back together.. hmmm.

As a person who had a short, fat man as a character in D&D I know the deal about negative modifiers outside of combat... fucking ropes and being unable to climb them.

Me and Kaiser are finalising our chars via PM, is there a char sheet somewhere or do we just need the names and bio and you do the rest?
