Nah I don't really want it to feel like a zombie game... similar in some themes perhaps but I very much want this to feel like an Alien game through and through. You guys will be in a lot of danger... bad decisions in an event may well lead to an early insta-gib. No one wants their nibblets jibbled, so try and play smart... well.. if your character is smart that is. Otherwise low cunning, common sense or brute force will have to suffice. If you come up with truly insane ideas that logically would fail... that just might be crazy enough to work. It takes the right kind of attitude to pull an insane stunt off though. ---- A few more character ideas... you could be a prisoner being transported or just kept in the cells on the station or in the colony for recently breaking some law or company code of conduct. Or a covert bounty hunter. Maybe even an under-cover infiltrator from a rival mega-corporation eager to try and bring down (or at least put a dent in) the unstoppable Weyland-Yutani. Hell, you could possibly even be a secret android if you can justify it to me in PM, if you wanted to do that for some reason. Those are quite unscrupulous, shady options.. but they are interesting nonetheless. Heck maybe you're just someone on this station by accident, your path having led here because of a series of unfortunate events. Or maybe you're the daughter of the station's chief executive or some other relatively important figure, such as one of the scientists/chief technicians directly responsible for overseeing the terraforming process.

Yeah we could do that, but I don't want to do the same thing as other players. Besides, this is an Alien game, it all comes down to a small group of people with various skill-sets coming together to somehow trap and kill the Alien or die horrible, gruesome deaths.

Username: Coolyo294 Character Name: Gary "Twitch" Ritter Age: 27 Career: Handyman Affiliation: Weyland Yutani Personality: Paranoid, twitchy, and haunted by the horrors of his military career. He is pessimistic in the extreme and sees anything bad that happens to him as fate's way of punishing his sins. In recent days he has also taken to alcohol in order to numb his nagging conscious. Few enjoy being around him. Background: The only child from a poorer family on earth, Gary Ritter's decision to join the USCM was one born entirely of economics rather than any sort of patriotic devotion to earth. After completing basic training at Camp Pendleton, Ritter was assigned to the 3rd Battalion's 1st Company as a rifleman. The 3rd Battalion had been on active combat deployment on the planet Acheron for the past six months, engaged in bitter fighting to root out militant cells that had embedded themselves within the civilian population. As the brutal fighting continued Ritter became extremely jumpy and paranoid, earning him the nickname of "Twitch" which stuck with him throughout his life. After five more months of fighting the terrorists were quelled and the campaign was declared a success. Post-campaign reviews of the USCM's actions by human rights groups called in to question the unnecessarily violent tactics used against civilian and military targets. Many of the battalion's upper leadership faced prosecution for war crimes but most of the rank and file escaped with nothing more than a black mark on their record, something that has haunted Ritter since the day he was discharged from the Corps. The Weyland-Yutani funded Veteran's Reassignment Bureau quickly found him work within the company and subsequently booted him to KV-827's space station as a handyman. Plagued with guilt over the crimes he committed during his military service, Ritter is regarded as a tragic trainwreck by most of the station's staff, though few know the true details of the warzone he served in. Other: -Always sleeps with his loaded M4A3 Service Pistol under his pillow -Suffers from the "Acheron Shakes", a condition common in veterans of the campaign. It manifests itself as a constant shivering of the hands and even convulsions in times of extremely high stress. For the most part Gary keeps it under control with medication but on occasion it does flare up when he's working Appearance: Average heigh, lanky build. He appears ten years older than he actually is. Like many ex-marines he has the traditional crew cut and USCM badge tattoo on his left bicep, but his general demeanor and lack of vitality makes it very clear that he is no longer a Marine.
