Yeah...I just played it off as her being closer to Titus after the ship exited the warp but really if we don't have someone that can fly our ship we will be in a much worse position than we are now.

Yeah...I just played it off as her being closer to Titus after the ship exited the warp but really if we don't have someone that can fly our ship we will be in a much worse position than we are now. I assume there is a chain of command so if the deamon does kill the captain then there is someone who can take over. But I do agree that it would be preferred that we murder this intrusion and then worry about how we are going to travel warp now our navigator is dead sith a co who knows what she is doing.

Event results: Daemon of Tzeentch
As soon as they recovered, Garris and Victora immediately formed up in front of the Inquisitor to defend her. Opening fire with shotgun and bolt pistol respectively, they plaster the Daemon, but the shells seem to disintegrate on contact with its unnatural warp-flesh. Serasti adds to the weight of fire with his laspistol, to no avail.
Titus charges forward, pistol raised and hammering it with more bolt shells. He yells for the captain to get back and the Daemon turns its attention towards him. With a wave of its stave, it unleashes doombolts towards Titus. The black-purple energy bolts impact forcibly, and he is blasted backwards. He grits his teeth in pain, having suffered burns. His armour took the brunt of the psychic attack, but is melted away like water in the sun.
The heavier, slower form of Kril raises his huge boarding shield in front of him and advances towards the Daemon.
The captain takes advantage of the daemon's distraction and draws her power sword, slicing off one of its flailing arms. It shrieks and spins, smashing its stave into her and knocking her into one corner of the bridge where she collapses in a heap.
With a roar, Nicholas summoned the greatest depths of his powers. A huge stream of incandescent warp flame spurt outwards from him towards the Daemon. The unnatural monstrosity shrieked as it was immolated and it cowered back. Nicholas suddenly realised something was very, very wrong. He had drawn too deeply, let too much of the warp through. Howling winds began to blow through the bridge and from the ceiling a downpour of blood began to pour, soaking everyone in slick crimson. That wasn't all however. He could feel the warp flowing freely through him like a conduit. With so much unstable energy in the bridge, any further psychic powers would no doubt cause untold psychic phenomenons. With a degree of horror, he realised the Daemon would no doubt be pleased by this.
It was here to wreak mayhem, and the untapped warp energies surrounding the bridge were ripe for abuse. It didn't care if it was destroyed in the process, it was already severely weakened from the psychic attack unleashed against it. It raised its arms and unleashed warp lightning towards the acolytes. Kril's boarding shield weathers most of the attack (no doubt protecting his fellow acolytes from the devastating warp lightning attack), although several of his servos seize up as a result.
With a gutteral, incomprehensible stream of binary spewing from his vox implant, Kril raises his boarding shield and smashes it right into the Daemon centre-mass. Already severely weakened, it collapses with a howl. He prepares to deliver the death blow.
However, with the raw energies of the warp flowing throughout the bridge due to Nicholas, the barrier between realspace and the empyrean weaken significantly. The acolytes scream, clutching their heads as daemonic entities enter their minds and attack their very souls. The Inquisitor is protected by the warding sigils inlaid into her hat.
Victora reels over - no matter how many implants she has, her organic mind is still vulnerable, and she is wracked in a pain that even her bionics cannot filter out.
Kril collapses backwards, several daemonic entities ravaging his mind.
Serasti is resolute in the face of the mental assault, however his will is not quite strong enough and he crumples.
Titus, Nicholas and Garris find their faith is pure, and do not succumb to the daemons.
The daemon staggers to its feet, but the acolytes are there first. Its ethereal defences shattered, Titus and Garris raise their mortal weapons and open fire. Huge chunks of its daemonic flesh are blown apart and its hold on realspace is sundered. As it is sucked back into the warp, Inquisitor Severine unsheathes her power stake, pulls back her arm and throws it towards the daemon like a spear. The holy weapon, with its anti-psyker properties, embeds itself in the daemon. Immediately, the beast bursts into warp flame. With a final screech it vanishes, banished back into the warp.
The Inquisitor's power stake drops to the floor with a clang. She orders an evacuation of the bridge. Garris grabs the captain and pulls her clear, Nicholas manages to drag Serasti away and Titus - infamous for his sheer natural strength - is barely able to pull the extremely heavy weight of Kril out. Commander Thaddeus ensures that Enginseer Victora is pulled clear.
------------------------------------------
The daemon has been banished. The bridge.. is a mess, raining blood, filled with fire and death, and untapped warp energies that will not be easily dissipated.
However, no one suffers permanent injury. Those affected by the daemonic mind attack should be somewhat changed by the experience, scarred perhaps, although how much it affects them depends every much on the individual. It is a form of corruption however, a troubling matter to be sure.
The captain is unconscious and in a critical state.
Titus is in a lot of pain but is given space morphine and space first aid, allowing him to continue normal service more or less unhindered.
As for Nicholas, well, he's fine despite a fleeting encounter with the perils of the warp. However, whether the group is grateful or not is a different matter. His psychic barrage no doubt nearly finished the daemon off in one go, leaving it weak enough to be destroyed by the others quite easily. However, his recklessness of drawing on his full powers caused a mass possession - which, fortunately, did not lead to permanent chaosification. All in all, it could have gone a lot worse, but it could have gone a lot better.
The Inquisitor is completely unharmed due to excellent wargear and acolytes stepping in to defend her, which allowed her blessed weapon to fully banish the daemon. (It was already on its way out.. but it definitely won't be returning to realspace for a very long time now)
Anyway, you know the drill guys, write the results up from your character's perspective.

Once I get a few small (or big if you choose) posts from Dewin, Warork and AegisFate to wrap up this event's results, I'll move things along. If you have time to do them tonight (in the next few hours ideally) I can write something up afterwards.

Does Krill take any damage from soaking the lighting attack? I mean, it does fry some of his servos at least.

I will write up an event shortly.
Also, in case anyone was planning to interact with Dev's character - he has informed me he'll be too busy to post over the next few days. As such, his character will simply follow around Harrab's tech priestess until Dev returns to the game.

So, you guys have your orders and along with them a brief chance for character interaction along the way. Warork - I've edited in the Inquisitor's response to Titus' question about the cargo.

Here's a bit more information on our resident Inquisitor.
Character Name: Castella Severine Age: 145 Career: Inquisitor Appearance: Height of 1.76m, Very fair skin with silky blonde hair typically worn in a functional style. Pierced ears featuring small earrings; one a golden aquila, the other the symbol of the Ecclesiarchy. Personality: A wise, strong-willed woman, she is level-headed and determined. A devout servant of the Emperor, she favours philosophising the Imperial Creed over zealous and ridged adherence to it. Equipment: Power stake, artificer carapace armour, rune-inlaid witch hunter hat, inferno pistol OR terminator armour, heavy flamer and power axe Background: Originally hailing from a remote Imperial world, her earliest years are known by precious few. That she pursued the life of a cleric and eventually spent some time as part of that world's variant of a redemption cult is known. She rose to become the cult's leader and eventually led a mass uprising to overthrow the corrupt governor. Indeed, this is how she first warrented the attention of the Inquisition, as the Ordo Hereticus dispatched an agent to quell her supposed heretical uprising. Upon arrival some time after the fact, they found her world to be prosperous and faithful to the Emperor. In fact, its contribution to the wider Imperium increased tenfold in the next three years. The Inquisitor who found her was impressed with her charisma, faith and deeds.
She was recruited into the Inquisitor's warband and assisted in the cleansing of many worlds thereafter. Under the guidance of her new master, the fiery traits which defined her youth were evened out through experience. She excelled as an Explicator, Interrogator and later a fully-fledged Inquisitor. Rejuvenat treatments maintain her youthful appearance and physical strength - a necessity for an Inquisitor who insists on taking the fight directly to the enemy.
In recent decades, she has turned her attention to the fringes of Imperial space. She can command more resources than most of her peers who operate so far from the heart of the Imperium, ensuring her task is significantly easier. She maintains watch for radical Inquisitors, operating in remote sectors so that their dubious practices go unnoticed by their puritanical brethren. While she is not an extremist, she does not hesitate to dispense justice as she sees fit on these radicals – a trait that has earned her a number of political enemies within the Inquisition.
However, none of them have the means nor unquestionable reputation required to challenge her authority, and are forced to accept her judgement. Typically, this includes stopping any unhealthy research of a heretical or xenos nature and seizing any inappropriate items associated with it in order to dispose of them properly. In this sense she is merciful, as other puritans would simply attack a radical on sight.
However, there was one notorious incident over forty years prior in which she was not so merciful. She uncovered a network of Inquisitors purposefully seeking to summon greater daemons in an attempt to bind them into weaponry. She hunted them down and executed them before their malevolent plot could be enacted, and she was rewarded with her ancient suit of terminator armour by that sector's Inquisitor Lord.
