They don't? That seems perfectly fine then.

Do cults choose a Nation to hide in or are you putting us in a area?

As I understand it cults are spread out through many nations, having cells in each...They might be more centralized in some nations than others, however.

In that case I hope it's nigh impossible to remove cults as otherwise the first things players will do is try to remove cults from their land, thus killing off cult players easily.

Depends, I have no specific reason to hunt cults until they start killing my people.

Well personally, from a gaming point of view I'd want to eradicate all cults within my domain to ensure dominance over the people of my religion. However, from a player view I'd find it distasteful to do an act that could potentially kick out a player before they can even start. So I'm hoping (and knowing Harrab, he has) that there's things in place to either prevent players from purging their lands instantly or to remove the option to do anything about it. If you can't actively do something then you don't worry about it as much.

Well, due to some cults expressly mentioned as being 'hunted' I expect that players can go all Spanish Inquisition on them, but it'd still be relatively difficult to locate actual cult members, and the cult could continue recruiting and influencing. Basically like a shadow war.

The idea is that a cult is spread out all over the place so killing them should be nigh on impossible just like destroying a church would be very difficult as long as there is a nation to defend the church.

Do cults choose a Nation to hide in or are you putting us in a area? cults pm me where they want their starting followers split, this will be kept secret. If you can't actively do something then you don't worry about it as much. you have to know the cult is there before you can eliminate them and even then its possible they get wind of the coming purge and vanish into the shadows before the soldiers arive. In some what related news, i'm confident that this game can get rolling very soon, tomorrow i'll be posting the combat information, answering any final questions then i'll push the boat out and you guys can get stuck into it.

smashing, I knew you'd have something in place. If they simply vanish then there's no point trying to kill them off in a blunt kind of way. And if you can only work towards it if you have knowledge of them then you can't give orders to combat something you have no knowledge of in the first place. Looking forward to this
