We also get those commands from gloryhounding commanders apparently.
Oh well, guess we could loot some of the defenders cannons unless GM magic decides to deny that too.

I don't see why you can't use the enemy's guns on them, feel free to do so. ... If our artillery doesn't destroy those, as per their orders. Wouldn't it be better to take out that artillery, which is located on high towers, before they can take their toll on our infantry, then to risk a lot of men trying to take them? Of course, the company commanders are free to do as they see fit, as long as it fits with the orders from higher command Which are very loose and undetailed orders.

silence has given the kickstart for the assault. If you haven't posted in the IC thread, now may be the time to get involved

I don't see any title saying that.. and I've re-read it several times. If it was in bold then I can't view it, some of us have issues with bold text and our browsers it seems. It's an issue that hasn't been resolved yet. Italics or underlining works well enough. I do try to encourage people to move away from just writing *[timeframe]* or *[location]* or what have you, as it's very easy to just start a new paragraph and explain that time and location have changed through description. Granted, it's not necessary and just writing it as *[information]* is very easy and gets the job done just fine for roleplays. But, part of this community is and always will be trying to help each other improve our writing (not something that we see done too often these days, likely as everyone has gotten very good at this point). Anyway, I started a post about 4 hours ago and I should really finish it.

I mean more as general thing since i would assume that this fortress would have other batteries and armories than just these. But, meh. No point fretting over it at this point.

Darko Thanks for the tips. I realise i'm not as good as the other members It's only my first big RP on here I think, plus, i've been out of the game for a long while. Still, those are not excuses, I'm willing to learn, and I hope to see my GM skills get better while this RP moves further.
