Excellent post Warork. Glad to see Karras back and doing his thing. I also really like the creativity you put into making that drinking hole, very interesting. Good post from you too AegisFate. Sets a very post-military theme and it'll be intriguing to see whether they stick to the doctrine they know or if it is abandoned over time in the hive.

Hello Nepty. I hope you can find a way to use the internet more regularly (an internet cafe maybe?) so that you can participate. Autopilot keeps a gang going but doesn't do them justice or write any posts for them unfortunately.

Best of luck with it. This game certainly needs as many players posting as possible right now, as we are almost at 'half strength' in terms of active players.

I know some people already have but for everyone else that hasn't, please send to me a concise and complete description of your base in your relevant PM thread with me. Thank you.

AegisFate Your event has been posted. This is pretty much a one of a kind thing, everyone. I did it so that you can all get a good idea of what a typical combat might look like. Ordinarily you'd get all that information via PM and simply write up the results. In any case Aegis, you need to write that up IC. I'll also PM you further information about your characters levelling up. You'll need to make appropriate adjustments to your character sheets, gang rating etc afterwards.

For those who don't know, I'm away for a week effective tomorrow, but I should have internet via my phone at the very least and I'll take my netbook so I have access to PDFs and a few dice, so that I can keep this game running with a minimum of fuss.
Obviously it will be a lot more difficult for me what with not being able to write fast or have a dozen tabs open simultaneously with all the important info relevant to the game (take that last event for example, had the new topic, the IC thread, two game companion ones on separate bits of info, PMs, OOC list and Aegis' gang sheet just for that one event). So I will ask that everyone is patient with me and provides me with as much support and assistance with the game as possible to keep it going this week.
Remember, the sooner you guys post the sooner we move on in the IC days and the sooner you lot get your weekly income! Also, I believe Silence should be back soon and Nepty has told me his computer may be fixed soon so he might also be back up to normal activity. With a bit of luck we get them both back and Necromunda's activity can go up to normal levels.
The alternative to my IC day system is I just give you guys income at the end of every week IRL but I honestly believe that'll move the game on far too quickly and will make the IC pacing feel quite weird, especially if someone didn't post for ages and just sat around collecting income for ages, hence why it is the way it is.
I know Warork and Harrab, and TGN and Aegis are doing collaboration posts which are all fine and dandy but as we know they can take a very long time - so please don't rely on these! If the game gets bogged down because you feel a bit trapped waiting for someone else, then by all means do something else.
This isn't to rush people doing collabs, but rather for the sake of the game overall - I think we can all agree that if something is taking too long then either doing something else in the meantime or just revisiting it and simplifying it (honestly, if you are having trouble writing some mammoth post, it's likely you could manage to break it down into just 3-4 paragraphs to allow the other player to reply quickly, and then you, and so on - like the old days) is likely a much better option in this case. Obviously I do not advocate small, 1-2 sentence posts in this game, but it may work far far better given the nature of the beast to simply do shorter responses to each other rather than attempting big collabs if one or both people simply don't have the time for it all in one go.
In other news the Trading Post is open again today and for the next two days, of course most people have very little money at this point. Nonetheless there's more in Gelttown than just the TP - information, for one thing, can often be found. Rumours, gossip, etc.

Update. The in-character week will now be 6 days long and you will all collect income every 3 days instead of every 5.
