Kril had been standing on the side while the others had been briefed. The skitarii had already given his report already to the inquisitor and he had nothing to add to discussion and thus had chosen to stay completely silent and still in attention while others talked. Within his mind he was already thinking what punishments would be required to correct his disgusting weakness that he had shown during the battle. Showing such weakness was intolerable, especially for member of Omnissiah's sword arm.
Speaking of the battle, his focus sifted towards the guardsman that had saved him after he had failed. He did not understand why the soldier had risked his mission for his sake but even then he could not allow such action to go unrewarded. He had cleansed and performed proper maintenance rites on the traitor leader's power sword and Krill hoped that would serve as proper compensation.
As soon as the inquisitor had left, Kril quickly moved to action. Taking few long steps forwards to the table, he swiftly unclasped the sword scarab from his belt and placed it on table, right in front of the guardsman.
"Reward for duties rendered" He spoke in his mechanical monotone before turning and heading out of the room. Now with his debt repaid, he much training to do.

"Good," replied Doyle. "It's not far, come on."
The two of them went on to the bar. The trip to get there took place in silence. They passed some guards which let them through upon showing their Inquisitorial access cards, which granted the two of them access to all but the important parts of the station. Not at all that handy, Doyle thought.
They reached the elevator and were evidently alone. Doyle pressed to descend to the right level and down they went. The inquisitor told them to be careful, as she could not guarantee their safety in all places on the station. But the somewhat unremarkable look of the two meant they wouldn't catch too much attention.
They left the elevator on the right level and went on to the bar, which wasn't very far anymore. Now Doyle spoke up again.
"Let's get some drinks," Doyle started "and mingle with the customers. Some of those lower officers would have some drink in them by now. Let's see what comes out of their mouths."
Seth nodded, feeling suddenly thirsty.
"And keep an ear out for anything unusual you hear. Inquisitor's said there could be some traitors within the higher ranks. Anything suspicious we hear from the lower ranks now could help the Inquisitor later on."
The two of them entered the bar, taking in the scene and picked a good spot to sit. Doyle ordered the first round of drinks for the both of them.

"Reward for duties rendered" Kril grated as he placed a sword in front of the guardsmen. Garis recognized it as the Rogue Trader's sword, previously seen embedded in the skitarii's torso.
Garis nodded in thanks but the skitarii was already walking away. No matter. He stood up and buckled the sword to his webbing, letting it hang next to his sword bayonet. It bounced awkwardly as he walked to the training cages. He passed naval menials and armsmen in the corridors, but each gave him a wide berth. It was clear from his bearing and unfamiliar appearance that he was an acolyte of the Inquisition. Eventually he arrived at the training cages. One of the new acolytes, Samael the Crusader, was already there fighting servitors in one of the rings.
The engineer pulled his new sword out of its sheath and gave it a few experimental swings. Despite being a pathetic fop more focused on appearance than effect, Starworth knew how to pick a sword. It was light and well balanced, slicing through the air with minimum effort. Garis also pulled out his sword bayonet and compared the two. Lacking in a power field, the bayonet was heavy-bladed to facilitate powerful strikes that could cleave through armour. Its short length also gave it an advantage in the close-up trenches and tunnels Garis was used to fighting in. He couldn't even count the number of times he'd seen a screaming zealot charge him in the darkness of a sap-tunnel, only to embed their longer sword in the wall or ceiling and get blasted apart by his comrade's shotguns.
Of course, Garis was also not trained in the finer points of using a power sword. That instruction was reserved for officers only. But in the service of the Inquisition he needed to be ready for anything and knowing how to use a longer sword could only help. Activating a training servitor he began the painful process of learning.

Player event: RaptorsTalonLucina entered the data and refined the search parameters, however after a few seconds of binary processing scrolling across the screen of the cogitator, a bright red message appeared on the screen. ++++Restricted search parameter: starship designation Errant Missionary++++ +++Detected security clearance level: Epsilon. Access: not granted+++ ++System control informed++ +Disabling Terminal+ The screen flashed and then went blank. Lucina tried to reactivate it but the station was completely inactive. Player event: Scrazz' @cashdash Doyle and Seth sat in the bar, drinking their drinks. As the station progressed into the evening cycle, more and more junior officers and navy ratings entered. They began ordering drinks, slowly at first, but after a few hours they had all started singing old space shanties and loudly boasting about who served in the glorious recent crusade that had come to a close not long ago. Meanwhile the two Inquisitorial agents sat at their table, observing. They couldn't hear anything in particular however, and the officers recognised they were obviously not part of their outfit and so avoided them. There were a few ratings playing a card game in one corner, apparently it was high stakes. A few quieter officers stood at the bar talking and drinking, while several large groups were dancing and boozing the night away in celebration. Those ones in particular seemed very inebriated and suggestible, as some of them were being dared to do particularly foolish or embarrassing things and their tables were overflowing with finished glasses of cheap grog. (If and who you two speak to at this point and how you go about it is entirely up to you, respond IC and I will respond afterwards to whatever you attempt) Player event: Nepty"Are we feeling talkative now, mister Starworth?" Morghast asked. Davos Starworth was obviously flustered and uncomfortable. "Alright, fine, Emperor damn you," he spat. "There is nobody to police my noble actions out here. I have always wanted to be the hero, I grew up hearing tales of frontier justice from my father who held the family Warrant of Trade before me. I have never had the chance to enact similar tales of heroism, and when I found your suspicious vessel in the middle of nowhere I saw an opportunity to earn glory. A lone ship that far out in uncontrolled space broadcasting its location? That's the oldest trick in the pirate's book! It's used all over this sector by foul vagabonds." "We identified ourselves as an Inquisitorial vessel over the vox and you still attacked. Why?" Sarasti inquired. "As if I would believe anything you had to say over the comms. I thought you were pirates, even those low-life scummers have heard the legends of the Inquisition - the secret agents of the Emperor. Were you in my position would you have lowered your void shields and have taken the risk? I think not. I have not survived so long by being foolhardy and taking risks."

Live most Servants of the imperium who spent the Majority of their lives with too much to do and not enough time to do it, now that she was aboard the station and had tended to the Inqusitor's Tactical Dreadnaught Armour already she found herself at a loss as to which task was the most efficient use of her skills and time.
The Inqusitor had mentioned traning or meditation as a valid use of their time, but Victora required neither and she had no interest in forming bonds with the new members of the inquisitor's retinue, names had been mentioned but were pointless, Crusader, Storm Trooper, the two criminals gave her a moments pause, both were idiots and both were vagabonds, so she lumped them both under "Idiot" and would leave it up to them to determine which one she was referring to if she ever had cause to speak to them separately or together, assuming they were still alive in a few hours time, which she doubted.
The Engineseer followed the others out, pausing to examine the sword the Skitarii had given the Guardsman, a fine weapon despite its owner's betrayal, and decided as she walked to visit the Admech Temple on the Station, both to commune with her Brother and Sisters of the Machine and to chase down the reason for the Errant Missionary being set to hunt their ship and happened to be precisely at the location required to intercept them after their emergence from warp-space. The whole station had offended her greatly. Countless systems had been damaged and the loss of the Escort ship to Imperial guns was an Insult to the machine spirit.
And there had been that code which had taken over the ships vox and power systems. it had not been coded by the Assassin and her memory implants were still turning up no relevant data. Perhaps the archives here would provide some answer to where that code had come from and put her on the trail of the one who would dare defile such a noble Vessel as the Consul.
She voxed her desire to visit the temple to the inquisitor, in case some other great mechanical calamity occurred while she was absent. Doubtless she would want to know her intentions, but she simply didn't share them. Doing so would have been pointless, the others would not be permitted access and the rites of the Adeptus Mechanicus was not for even her to know.

The bar was filling up rather fast, and Doyle decided it was time to make a move. idly sitting here drinking cheap grog didn't further their goals.
"Come on," Doyle started. "Let's see what we can find out. Let's mingle with those officers."
Doyle nodded his head towards the group who were singing and dancing at the bar, all looking quite drunk already. He figured they were the ones willing to spill the most dirt on their superiors.
"Don't get too drunk."
The two of them walked up into the group, one of the drunk officers inviting them to have a drink with them. To set the mood, Doyle took out a pile of credits and ordered a round of the cheapest grog for the whole group. The drunk officers cheered at the notion and seem to warm up to the two outsiders.
Lets hope this is worth it, Doyle thought.

Player event: Lord HarrabEnginseer Victora entered the large Mechanicus shrine. It had to be in order to accommodate the endless repairs and maintenance required by the fleets operating out of Dominus station. Hundreds of tech adepts and lay priests went about their business, with a handful of high-ranking tech priests overseeing everything. She knew of one: High Enginseer Kaltoth. He was ultimately in charge of all the Mechanicus goings-on aboard Dominus station and was indeed a venerable tech priest in his own right. Even next to Victora he was a wise sage, having carried out his duties for many centuries. They had briefly spoken six months ago when Severine had first arrived, prior to their last mission. After briefly being stopped by a low-ranking priest who confirmed her identity, she was admitted into the High Enginseer's sanctum. Within, he was venerating the Omnissiah in binary-cant, surrounded only by censor servitors and cherubim. She passed by the two electro-priests standing guard at the doorway, each one holding an ancient power axe not dissimilar to her own. They stood like silent statues, yet she knew each one could move with unnatural swiftness and strength should they choose. Victora stood patiently waiting for Kaltoth to finish his benediction out of respect. He eventually stood, turned and took three steps towards her. The chamber was dark, illuminated only by various candles yet Victora could see everything clear as day. The room was inlaid with sacred runes and encrypted carvings in techna-lingua that she struggled not to examine with the slightest hint of glee. "Welcome Enginseer," Kaltoth rumbled at last. Victora bowed slowly, before returning a greeting. "And what brings you to me?" Kaltoth asked. --------------------------------------------------- Player event: Scrazz' @cashdash After several rounds of heavy drinking, the already inebriated officers were as merry as can be and happily spoke all night in great detail about their success in the crusade. There was dancing, cheering and singing aplenty, though none of them spoke about a whole lot of any particular interest. Resignedly, Doyle and Seth eventually gave up, both becoming intoxicated themselves and quite sick of hearing slurred war stories. They returned to the bar and sat. Doyle sighed and turned to his companion. He was about to ask what they should do next when Seth simply pulled out a pile of Throne Gelt and called over the bartender. "By the Throne, where did you get that?" Doyle questioned. They'd spent everything else they had on them buying the dozens of celebrating officers multiple rounds. "Happy men are not mindful, and drunk men are clumsy," he smiled, ordering them both glasses of the finest ale in the house. As the pair drank, they listened. There were a few officers near them at the bar who were speaking. Strangely, they did not sound too happy. "By the Emperor, it just doesn't sit right with me," one said as he idly looked down at his still full glass of amasec. "Captain Roland is a good man - a dutiful man! I served under him for many years. He can't be guilty, he just can't." "I always heard the same brother, but a captain is aloof from even his fellow officers. Corruption is not always obvious to see, and sometimes we refuse to see it because we can't bare to," the other replied. "No, you didn't know him like I did. You may be my big brother and I followed you into the Navy but for once I wish you would not doubt me. He's innocent, I swear it." "I believe you, but keep your damned voice down. You know the Inquisition has agents all over this station, and to question their decisions is heresy! Now shut up and finish your drink. We won glorious battles in the crusade, I just wish you'd been there at the end." "If only. You know our ship was recalled early, and that's when Roland was taken away. Next thing I know, myself and the other high-ranking officers are transferred off-ship and left sitting around here. Apparently it's for 'security' reasons - we were Roland's inner circle, so they think maybe we were involved too. None of us know anything, that's for sure. I sat through four weeks of inquiries and interrogations that can attest to my innocence." "Then count your blessings. Come on, let's go and join the others." The two officers got up and turned to go towards their partying colleagues. In the other corner of the room there was a yell and one officer got up from the table where the gambling was taking place, a disgruntled expression on his face as he stormed out of The Cascading Nebula. ----------------------------------------------------

Player Event: WarorkJudge Titus was on his way to the armoury. He was still lamenting the loss of his relic armour to the Daemon, and some of his wounds still ached from his encounters with the mysterious assassin. As he rounded a corner, he stopped. Two heavily-armed men stood waiting for him. His hand hovered over the holster at his hip. He glanced over his shoulder, seeing another two approach behind him. They wore sealed carapace armour and held an assortment of weapons from hellguns to meltaguns. "Judge Titus Nolus. Your presence is required by Inquisitor Mercutio in his private estate. You will accompany us," one of the men said, his voice clipped through his helmet's vox. -------------------------------------------- Player Event: coolyo294 admiral9Garis and Samael had spent many hours training. Although the Crusader's years of experience made the guardsman's slow, clumsy moves seem comical at best, even he had to admit that the Kriegsman had potential. He took to it with complete focus and determination. In time, he may well make a fine enough swordsman. Of course, even though Samael was bored of training servitors, he would still not lower himself to challenge his fellow acolyte. Such a duel would not even be a contest and would serve only to dishonour Garis. The door opened with a hiss and a new figure stepped in. It was Severine. "Crusader, take up arms. I would spar with you," she commanded. Samael smiled. A worthy opponent, at last. Garis stood back and observed stoically. The pair entered the duelling ring, each one wielding a shock-sword of their choice. Samael chose a thick bastard sword that was much like his own ancient power sword, whereas Severine picked a more balanced longsword. Severine was not dressed in her normal garb, instead she simply wore a tight sleeveless leather vest, revealing surprisingly muscled arms for a woman of her stature. She swung her sword a few times to get a feel for it, before entering a ready stance. Samael did the same. They circled briefly, then clashed. The crusader's attacks favoured wide, heavy swings while the Inquisitor used more finesse and speed, although to the untrained eye both moved with indistinguishable skill and swiftness. Blades sang as they scraped off each other. Each parried or dodged every strike and saw every feint their opponent tried. It seemed they were quite equally matched. They fought tirelessly for twenty minutes, neither one able to maintain an advantage for long. Then Severine made a crucial mistake. She over-extended her guard and Samael took full advantage of it. His sword grazed her side, stunning her with a shock and allowing him to disarm here and knock her to the floor, blades pointed at her throat. "Do you yield?" He asked. "I yield," she acquiesced. He dropped the swords and offered her a hand, helping him up. She placed a hand on his shoulder and grinned. "Well fought Samael. Your skills are everything they were said to be." "Thank you Inquisitor," he bowed his head reverently, though internally he was filled with pride in knowing he had bested such an experienced opponent. He watched as Severine left the room.

Player Event: AegisFate DewinNicholas stood in the large observation dome, gazing out into the void. Whether he was meditating on the deeper meanings of his existence, or simply bored and enjoying a casual stargazing session, none could be sure. All avoided him, for he was clearly distinguishable as a psyker. His reverie was disturbed when his personal vox communicator chirruped. Lazily, he answered it. "This is commander Thaddeus to Severine or her acolytes, come in please," the vox spoke. The message was filled with static but Nicholas could make out all the words. These personal communicators had limited range, and it was likely that the others in the Inquisitorial base did not pick up the transmission. "Nicholas here. What is going on?" "There's an inspection team trying to gain access to the Consul. Standard procedure, except this is an Inquisitorial vessel and Severine has not given her consent. Normally this wouldn't be a problem, a typical breakdown in communications between different departments - but I've found something on board. Something... tainted. If they search this vessel then they will find it and the consequences... well, you can imagine. You must get over here immediately, they're not going to take no for an answer. Captain Hera is stalling them, but apparently they're here on the orders of admiralty so there is only so much she can do." "Very well commander, I will provide what aid I can," Nicholas said as he turned to leave the observation dome. Dock 42 was only forty levels below him - a relatively short ride in a holy elevatus considering the overall size of Dominus station. Further below, Krill had been headed towards the Mechanicus shrine to see about getting a flamethrower mechadendrite fitted. He too heard the conversation, and logic dictated that he assist the frail psyker in this matter - or at least ensure his meddling did not cause more psychic mishaps. Should that happen, protocols dictated immediate termination of the psyker unit. "This is Krill. I will assist you," he spoke into the vox, saying nothing more than necessary as he turned to head towards dock 42.

Samael turned around facing the arena once more, his head was filled with feelings of pride after achieving victory over the inquisitor, once more proving in his mind that he was fit to guard her from threats within and without. As Samael picked his training sword up again, he glanced over at the Kriegsman who was still watching the aftermath of the battle. After the inquisitor had reaffirmed samael's prowess in sword fighting he was thinking of helping his new brother in arms. He opened his mouth and spoke; "Comrade, I do not mean to insult, but after watching you training with the sword I have determined your ability is sub par, although I do see the potential for greatness. Would you like it if I would give you some instructions so you can better yourself in the art of sword fighting?" Samael began approaching the Kriegsman hoping he would accept his offer.
