uk.ign.com/articles/2014/07/17/three-new-guardians-of-the-galaxy-villain-postersAbove is the final look at the three main baddies. Considering the heroes are a fun, awesome and seemingly hilarious bunch, the fact that they're facing what looks like a trio of absolute badass foes makes me even more excited for this! We've got a guy with a freaking thunder hammer right there, some dude who looks like he could kill you with a sidelong glance and cyborg Karen Gillan rocking the blue. (What can I say.. I foresee some good looking ladies going all out at each other in fights to the death, that's awesome) The amount I want to see this film has now gone up to 11.

I'd still bang her ... mmmm Gillian Your inner teen fanboy is showing.. What good sir Warrender means to say is he would enjoy sharing a night of gentlemanly frivolity and eloping with the fine young lady that is Karen Gillan. Tally ho!

If by that you mean I'd like to take her behind the garages and rip off all her clothing while proceeding to [explicit content] with a mango fruit, then [explicit content] until [explicit content] for 24 hours until [explicit content]
After that I'd [explicit content] the [explicit content] to [explicit content] pausing only to point out a local landmark before [explicit content] and [down right unprintable explicit content!!!!]
..then yes, I'd agree.
I'm really looking forward to this film I must say, I doubt it's going to be epic considering the style but I think it's the type of movie you'd have been glad to have at least seen if only once.

Warrender, you're a poet. The ladies must really appreciate the highly intelligible ballads you serenade them with. I feel like this is just going to be a rollercoaster adrenaline-ride that awakens everything your inner twelve-year old loved (what with our dreams of a GOOD transformers reboot dying in a CGI explosion). It probably will have that "nehh" feel to a certain extent, you know the one that the Avengers and some of the other films surrounding them suffered from where by the end you just don't quite feel satisfied, ie there's no real peril, the baddies are too goofy/nobody really cares enough about anything/deus ex machinas out the wazoo. But just looking at the style of the film, seeing as it's basically A-team in space.. kind of.. with a talking raccoon and Vin Diesel's new all-natural look... I think this may just be special. Besides, I'm fairly certain there's already a Guardians 2 along with Avengers 3 films planned and they likely crossover (because reasons!), so in the future it will make for some epic, if absurdly long movie marathons.

I'm repurposing this thread as a general marvel thread.

Anyone else see Antman earlier this year? It was a refreshing change from the usual, and I genuinely enjoyed it (certainly way more than Age of Ultron - they didn't even find out how old he was in the end! I was so disappointed). I would possibly even go as far to say it's one of my favourite films, at least in recent history.
