NIGHTGardens "A Curious Theory, and an even more Curious device." Said a voice behind Elros, who turned quickly to see a Drenai woman, clad in what looked to be armored robes staring at his Flux Meter, in one hand she carried a twisted metal staff, "I have Not seen such a machine before, is it of your own invention?" Seeing their expressions she smiled and gave a polite bow, "I am Teresa Skyreader, Divination Instructor. Please forgive the intrusion, but i must admit i am surprised to see new Students delving into their studies so quickly. Might i be Correct in thinking the two of you are interested in learning Divination?"

Nez'ra Night Garden -------------
Nez'ra turned his head to see a new figure arrive this time a Drenai standing talking to Elissa and the other pupil but it did not bug Nez'ra much he was to busy matching the plants to ingredients for potions he had manage to make before coming to the Academy mostly a cure for a rash but it was something.
'Maybe' Nez'ra picked a Null mushroom from base of the old tree and some Lavender then careful placed them in his small satchel for experiments later. After picking he sat down and leaned against the old tree, steered into the sky and enjoyed the stars.

Elissa Myrr Night Garden _________________________________ Elissa was a bit startled, she was afraid that the instructor would be angry, happily she wasn't. Elissa smiled and bowed. "Nice to meet you, I'm Elissa Myrr. I'm sort of interested." She replied the Drenai women. "It's more that I'm not sure what I want to learn, but it seems really interesting." Elissa looked up at the sky, it's the first time she sees this many stars, and it's beautiful. In the forest where she's from, the trees were that tall and big that the night was starless. You just couldn't simply see the stars because of the trees. Elissa thought for a moment. "When are your lessons, Ms. Skyreader?" She asked.

Elros Night Gardens ------------------------------ “It is, Madame Skyreader,” Elros replied, “And I do. My old tutor began to teach me in the ways of the diviner, but this was before my magical talents appeared, and so I had to build instruments to aid my study. When he was killed, I decided I wanted to continue his work, hence, here I am. What do you think?” Elros gestured towards his notebook…

Night The Gardens
Taking Elros's note book in her free hand Teresa planted her staff into the turf so she could use her other hand to flcik through the pages, as she did so she spoke to Elissa in a voice now infused with a measure of excitement. "Well i have a few hours or so to spare, and this your friend here has been kind enough to share his notes, i think the least i can do is begin your lessons here so you are not confused by our talk, he being already familiar with the barest roots of Divination." The Dreani looked around as if checing for something, then sighed wearily, passing back the notebook and taking up her staff again. she whirled it around her head, energy following it as she chanted three words and slammed it onto the ground between her feet. with a rumble and a flash, the earth rose up behind the three of them to form makeshift chairs of rock. Teresa bushed hers off with her tail before seating herself and gesturing for the others to do the same. "as you are new to the Study of Magic, i must tell you the very basics of spell casting before we go any further," she cleared her though with a delicate cough and planted her staff in the ground again. "Magic is much like cargo of dangerous criminals, and spells are the horse drawn wagon that gets it to the prisons. I'm over simplifying things, but please bear with me, The Cargo is very dangerous, but to get it to where you need it you have three parts. Words, or the vocal aspect, is the Cart in this metaphor, it gives the cargo something to grab onto as it cannot travel very well on its own and a small measure of control to you as to its desitantion, then there are the gestures, these are the horses, they provide the direction for the magic and help you focus your mind, then, their is the Will, the cart driver, the one who decides what and where the magic will go, what words to use and what gestures. Miss any of these, or harness them wrong, and the magic will break free and ruin will follow." She smiled warmly at the Student's to reassure them, and continued, "Now, onto Divination, it is a useful and dangerous school of magic, and draws upon several factors, the stars and planets." she pointed upwards, "The past we left behind," here she touched her forehead with a long finger, "Signs and portents from gods and spirits." she make a sweeping gesture with her right hand, "and seeing beyond what is real." She covered her eyes for a moment. Then she turned to Elros and nodded at his notes, "Your theory has merit but is focused on the wrong aspect to Divination. You seek to study the effect the passage of planets have upon magic, but have not considered the very core of what divination is. Perhaps their movements only affect this ever shifting path of Fate." The Instructor lent back on her seat and stared upwards at the moon, "there is also the fact it has come true." she said still staring up at the night sky, "It and other signs led me here, at this time, to find what i sought." Teresa looked down at the two of them and spread her arms, "Two students who wish to learn my craft and your own endeavors will benefit from my experiences. I'd say that is compelling proof." folding her legs beneath her on the rock seat, the Dreani seemed to be settling in for a long discussion. GM Notes: Elros and Elissa have learned the basics of spell casting and may, if they choose to remain in the lesson for three hours, learn how to identify portents and signs in the night sky and receive recommendations of books that will help them further. Others in the gardens may also join in, but beyond the first hour would have to wait until Theresa is willing to teach again, as she would have to re-cover ground the others have learnt, wasting time. She will only teach a maximum of four students. This lesson can be done IC or time skipped.

Nez'ra Night Garden ----------------
The ground rumbled under Nez'ra causing him to jump up and turn towards the small group gathered not to far from him around the Dreani who looked like a instructor but he could not see what school she taught which meant he had to get close and find out what was happening.
Gathering his things and making his way over to the group he saw they were sitting on large stones almost looking like chairs but did not look too comfortable, he stud behind the other two students to listen to the lecture. From what he could make from the beginning of things it sounded like Divination lessons not one that he intended to learn but it sounded quite good.
"Is it ok if I join this Lesson?" Nez'ra asked as he placed his Journal in his satchel.

It is now Morning Inquisitors will be posted in hallways and a handful patrol the halls. Only the Kitchen and Inquisitor Barracks are out of bounds. Most of the Instructors are in the dining hall, as is The Sorceress. Skyreader is in her study and Isabella Montigue is in one of the Classrooms. Nez'ra has also learned the Basics of Spell Casting and how to recognize signs in the night sky

Karlack MORNING Her dorm, heading Isabelle's classroom
-+-+-+-
Sunlight spilled in through the window, illuminating Karlack's sleeping face. Trev was perched a few inches away. Though the toad slept, his horizontally-pupiled eyes were wide open, a survival strategy that would fool predators into thinking he was awake. She stirred, then with a drowsy murmur Karlack awoke.
"Good morning, Trev." she said sleepily as she buried her face deeper into the pillow and attempted to go back to sleep. Suddenly she remembered where she was and sprang out of bed. Roughly she brushed the knots out of her hair before binding it into a short ponytail.
"Big day today! Classes! Can you believe it, Trev? I bet that old elf had no idea we'd end up here!" Karlack said excitedly as she pulled on her armour and robes. There was a brief moment where she teetered precariously, one foot stuck in the leg of her trousers, before righting her balance. Then she scooped up Trev and placed him on her shoulder. She felt his tiny claws dig into her shoulder as he anchored his grip.
Karlack took a deep breath to calm her nerves before she stepped out into the hallway. It was mostly empty, save for an Inquisitor carrying what looked like a sack full of scrolls. As she realized she had no idea ow to get to Isabelle's classroom, she flagged the Inquisitor down. Surely he'd know where to go
"Inquisitor sir?" she asked "Where can I find teacher lady Isabelle's class?" Her common was heavily coloured with a lilting tone immediately that was easily recognizable as a Great Swamp accent.
Though he seemed mildly annoyed at being stopped, the Inquisitor gave Karlack the directions she needed before resuming his brisk pace.
"Aye, we surely would've been lost had I not asked the way." Karlack muttered as she navigated the twisting labyrinth of hallways.
Eventually they arrived. It wasn't dissimilar to the classes Karlack had seen as she wandered the halls, a wide circular room with amphitheater-like seating on the edge surrounding a center that was empty of all but a table. Other than Isabelle, the room was empty. Karlack slinked in, doing her best to stay unnoticed as she took a place on the lowest tier of seating.

Hador Halios Morning Heading towards Isabella Montigue's classroom
It had been awhile since he had awoken from his slumber, and he felt somewhat rejuvenated. He walked down the hallway, and entered the room of his Teacher. He quickly walked in and set himself up ready for the class.

Gawain Vider Morning Waking up
Gawain stretched as he changed his clothes in his room, besides the one incident where he fell off of the small bed it had been an amazing night. He removed the chair from the door and made his way out of the room, reading some of the plates on the room he spotted one that seemed familiar. With a grin he drummed on the door, "Come on Nezzie, rise and shine!". He didn't even wait for a response before making his way towards the dining hall. He always felt better after a good night of sleeping and he thought that today would be a good day to at least find out who taught restoration. Gawain whistled as he made his way through the halls of the building, From what I've seen they usually wear white, mostly female... so looking for a woman in white." he thought.
The dining hall was much more full compared to what it was last night and the food seemed more familiar to him. Eggs, breads, different meats that looked like something his family would have during an early morning. "Yeah, would have.", his smile turned to a momentary frown before returning to a slight grin. "It's too early to be sad." he continued his thoughts as he filled a plate with some eggs and bread before sitting down alone. He began looking around for anyone matching his idea of what a restoration instructor would look like.
