That was mainly the waffen SS with the elite troops, i am aware only a certain part of the SS was in charge of the cleansing and death camps, but it remains a fact that the majority of SS regiments and divisions committed war crimes and aided in the ethnic cleansings. I am intending on rerolling the waffen SS into a still politically indoctrinated group but more intent on uniting the captured people (As they already sorta did) and as a "peacekeeping" force of sorts, which means the SD as an organisation will not exist for example the 3rd SS totenkopf who originated from concentration camp guards won't exist either, Because you know everybody knows being a hitler isn't the smartest thing at times. Uum your post got lost... seriously screw the quoting system of this site.

That's okay, because with the magic of rewriting history comes the rewriting of the history of various units and organizations. I've got that book from Christmas that has various armored units, their insignia, unit composition, and so on for the German army (including Waffen SS). God bless having a dad who likes history and wants me to make my WW2 models that much better (seeing actual camo patterns and insignia helps make more authentic models ^_^)
Speaking of that I've got to talk to a man about a horse, by that I mean a gunsmith about attacking an iron sight hood to my iron sight...

If this is still a planned thing, this is exactly the kind of role-play i would enjoy getting involved with.

Hello there Cash. I'm afraid nobody's been talking in this thread or on the forum about this topic for several months. You are more than welcome to read it over and see if you can add anything that will get the discussion going again, though.

Well the first thing we'ed need is a GM who knows alot about this period of history, such as me. The next issue is how many players do we have and how much do they know about the time period? We'ed need at least six players who are reasonably familiar with the time period, or are prepared to do some research on the time period. Starting date should be between 1928 and 1933. The rest is a question of how does everyone want to play it out, when do we want to cap technological development? Do we want to change certain events to help level the playing field(Treaty of Versailles for example)? How do we want to structure the turns? And such.

I would be perfectly happy playing GM if we could get at least six players. Turns would go in alphabetical order by nation names. Posts would be broken up into Politics, Economy, Military and Research sections. Secret actions could be undertaken through PM's. 3 Research projects could be run simultaneously. Twelve players is the normal maximum for this set up.

Thanks for the welcome.
At this point i was just speculating about the possibility, seeing as how most people are already involved in active RPs. My old group was very in depth(down to squad level), but i prefer not to go lower than Battalion level.

Battalion level on a world map... interesting, but i fear that might be a little bit too in depth for some people, i am fully interested in a game like this though, but yeah as i said if you ask me division level management at the lowest would be better, then theres also the naval and the air game that might become quite difficult to manage depending on the depth.
