Background
Another Dark Crusade had taken place under command of a charismatic and vile chaos overlord, Archon Herodor. His forces swiftly swept through the vast Merovech Cluster, conquering many a planet in the name of their vile gods. The chaotic forces have ravaged through this cluster unhalted for too long, thus a new Crusade was organized.
Warmaster Uriah Lexander was given the holy task of leading this crusade to retake this cluster and destroy the Chaotic forces who have taken residence in the system. This has proven more than difficult, as the Merovech Cluster is vast, a large amount of inhabited planets, not counting the fortress worlds and various planetoids upon which Chaos has sowed their seeds.
Among the Imperial Forces which make up the Crusade is the 31st Thracian Infantry Regiment, a regiment raised two years ago, which has seen action several times against Chaotic Forces.

Commanding officer of: 31st Tharcian Infantry Regiment
Background: Racine is part of noble family hailing from Tharcia. Before commanding the 31st, Colonel Racine was 2nd in command of the Thracian PDF. As the order to raise Guard Regiments arrived, Racine was an excellent choice to lead a regiment. His service within the PDF was remarkable, having seen action against various ork raiders and dealing with Chaotic cults. These were the main occupations of the Thracian PDF. Hailing from noble blood, he started his career as a mere Lieutenant, but rose through the ranks swiftly. He commanded the 31st for two years now, and is very proud of his regiment.
