This section deals soley with the forum and it's features and function. Anything from suggesting adding a feature to issues with logging in go here in this Section.
To keep things running smoothly you will notice that each thread has a tag in the title to help you, the user ... and mostly myself ... fully in the picture over what the thread is about at a glance and the stage it is at. Therefore is anyone starts a thread PLEASE use the tags provided. If you do not know what tags are appropriate then just post the thread with an appropriate title and I will gladly add them for you later.
You'll notice that some thread have two tags, the former is known as a type tag and help users easily identify what the intent of the thread is for. The latter is the status tag and is used to help users know what status the thread is add and whether the discussion is still open. Even if a thread is closed for further discussion there is nothing to stop you posting in that thread if the content is adding to that discussion.
On a side note, sometimes a particular topic posted here cannot be discussed publically or in full because of its nature and therefore will be discussed privately before a solution is agreed. In these rare occasions it will be noted by an Admin/Mod in the thread that such a discussion is taking place to ensure everyone knows that we have not ignored the topic raised. Once a decision has been agreed it will be made public along with the reasons for the decision so that those involved know we are not simply ignoring the issue.
Type Tags are
[ADDED] A feature or function that has been to the forum.
[CHANGE TO FORUM] A change that has been made to the forum, either a way of doing things or an alteration to layouts, etc.
[DISCUSSION] Any topic where a discussion is warranted, whether it be the possibility of making changes, to a feature that was added.
[SUGGESTION] Similar to a Discussion, but is where you can make suggestions for improvements or changes that can then be discussed.
[ISSUE] For issues such as logging in, unable to use a feature or anything else forum related
Status Tags are
[PENDING] The actions to be taken have not yet been implemented and are awaiting actioning.
[FIXED] The actions to be taken have been actioned and no further discussion is required.
[NOT FIXED] The actions to be taken have NOT been actioned, the reason why will usually be included in the thread.
[NAR] (No Action Required) For whatever reason, no action is needed to be taken.
