Master Kothari and her recently knighted former apprentice Jax Corso aboard a consular-class cruiser. They spent the following three months traversing the outer rim where they discovered several force sensitive babies whom they would return to the temple on Coruscant. However, they also happened across a dozen force sensitive children between the ages of 6 and 8. While it was unorthodox for children that old to be trained, Master Kothari considered that in these desperate times, they could not be so limited by ancient traditions. Furthermore, one of the most renowned Jedi Knights of recent memory was Anakin Skywalker, who was trained at almost 10 years of age.
When Coruscant was attacked in a bold move by the Separatists, the council contacted Master Kothari, instructing her to return to the temple to increase security. Once they learned of her decision to initiate children at such an old age - comparatively speaking - they were dubious. However, they saw merit in her choice and ruled that the children's fates would be decided after they had been assessed at the temple.
However, a splinter group of Separatists located and attacked their ship. Although they escaped, their engines sustained damage and their journey was severely delayed. By the time they were approaching the Inner Rim, order 66 was given. A Venator-class Star Destroyer which had been dispatched to rendezvous with their cruiser received the order and immediately set an intercept course. They were to eliminate the Jedi Knights, but capture the younglings alive in case they proved viable for the newly-appointed Emperor Palpatines' Inquisition organisation.
Kothari was grief-stricken, sensing a great disturbance in the force. Corso and the initiates were not nearly as force-sensitive as the master consular, yet even they felt something was wrong. After a heated discussion with the ship's crew - clone troopers no less - who insisted that they follow orders, they persuaded them to drop out of hyper space for a short time while Master Kothari meditated.
Shortly thereafter, they received the recently recalibrated message sent by Obi-Wan Kenobi from the Jedi Temple, warning them to stay away. Moments afterwards, the Venator cruiser burst out of hyperspace and began to target weapons.
The clone troopers on board received an encrypted message to execute order 66. They were expecting to take the Jedi by surprise, however having just listened to Obi-Wan's message, they were prepared and quickly killed their would-be assassins. Setting a new course, they narrowly escaped their pursuers.
They headed into Hutt space - while they were neutral in the war and had recently allowed for Republic passage, it was lawless and filled with pirates. This would at least make them more difficult to find. Knowing that they could not outrun a military cruiser for long, Master Kothari managed to secure a deal with a trade captain - a 'refugee exchange' in return for a hefty sum of credits. Wearing a disguise, Corso accompanied the young initiates on board the cargo hauler while Master Kothari set a course out of Hutt space. The Venator cruiser took the bait and followed her, with her fate being unknown.
The trade captain travelled to Nar Shadaa to unload cargo. It was where Corso and the initiates were to be let off, however the captain was greedy and capricious. He contacted Hutt slavers to sell the children. He knew that Corso would not allow this, and so he vented his quarters of oxygen during his sleep. When he discovered his lightsaber, the captain sold it on the black market to a wealthy but anonymous collector for a hefty profit.
The children were sold to various different places. Hutt palaces, pleasure houses, bounty hunters and more besides. They were separated completely, and many did not survive long.
However, some managed to eke out a living and eventually escaped slavery. A few even escaped Nar Shadaa itself. This roleplaying game is the story of those survivors, who buried their force sensitivity and have been hiding all their lives from the empire and the truth about themselves.
Yet the force works in mysterious ways, and unbeknownst to themselves, those children formed a connection in the short time they were together. 14 years later, that connection has inextricably reunited the survivors. For what purpose is unknown, yet there can be no doubting that there will be grand consequences when so many force sensitives are in one place.

---------------
Now, for a few details about this game. Yes, everyone is force sensitive but they have received no Jedi training. Most likely they've hidden their innate abilities and have tried to get on with their lives under the reign of Emperor Palpatine.
They aren't Jedi. They're whatever they have managed to become. Be it a mercenary, bounty hunter, black market dealer, servant, pod-racer, ore miner, etc. Naturally, whoever purchased them as a slave originally and where that person went (most importantly whether they went off-world and if so where) will have a huge impact on your character's general options in life and naturally will have influenced on where they are now.
Try and keep in mind the objective of the game at the beginning or at least in the early stages of the game is that the characters will inextricably be reunited (likely not even recognising each other at first), so try and ensure there's a way for them to still be in/return to hutt space and Nar Shadaa more specifically at the start of the game. There's not a lot that would prevent this of course, e.g. they could be in prison across the galaxy but have just been 'acquired' by a Hutt cartel they wronged so that they can be punished, hence being brought back by mercs.
Or they could have managed to become involved in politics as perhaps a diplomat's aide or advisor, having been bought as a slave but instead taken back to somewhere prosperous such as Naboo to be a servant in the royal court, etc, only to return as part of a diplomatic mission to help secure something that only the Hutt's can provide.
So in a sense, this isn't really a limiting factor, it just requires a bit of extra thought if your character has ended up on the other side of the galaxy in the past 14 years.
And one final note: I will not be GMing this game, I will be playing in it (however it was originally my idea and I wrote all of the above). Nepty will be the GM of this game.

Character Name: Mythus Sunfell
Alter ego: Garen Zendu
Age: 20
Species: Human
Height: 5'9
Approx. Weight: 162 lbs
Appearance: Slim and in good shape. Light skin, with brown eyes and rugged brown hair. Face is completely unremarkable but unblemished, however his left arm has distinctive scarring from where it was burned by fire. Not appearance per se, but he possesses a rather soothing voice and happens to be an excellent singer.
Who they were enslaved to as a child: Mythus was sold to an old mechanic - named Zhane Aldan - who owned a mechanics and droid repair shop. The old mechanic had grown weak in his old age, however he was a fair but stern master. In many ways, Mythus developed a father-son relationship with the old man and learned a great deal from him.
How they escaped slavery: As Mythus grew older, he took a more active role in the business and his 'father' released him from slavery on his fourteenth birthday. Instead, he offered him a job, which Mythus gladly accepted. He was an ambitious young man and discovered he had many other unusual talents. One of these was his silver tongue - he found he could be very persuasive. However, it was more than that. Sometimes it was as if he could exert his will on someone to make them believe things, or perhaps convince the local crime syndicate thugs to leave him in peace rather than to beat him for their amusement as they often did other defenceless people in the district.
Over the next few years he continued to take advantage of this innate talent to exponentially increase the number of sales and to ensure many prosperous deals were struck. By the time he was seventeen, they had cornered the droid market in two whole districts and had opened a small chain of workshops.
Their little enterprise did not go unnoticed however, and a rising cartel under the control of the young but ruthless Garvosa the Hutt found their own black market droid sales had begun to suffer significant losses. In time, they would lose a significant chunk of their business.
On the night of Mythus' 18th birthday, Garvosa decided to pay them a visit in their original workshop just as it reached the closing hour. Mythus had been given the day off to celebrate his coming of age with his colleagues.
When he returned alone to the workshop, he was horrified to find the gargantuan form of Garvosa and a number of his hired mercenaries waiting for him. Zhane lay on the ground, bloody and broken amidst the ruin of his ransacked workshop.
Garvosa taunted the young mechanic, telling him this is what he deserved for crossing the Hutts.
Unarmed, and noticing Zhen was still barely alive, Mythus managed to remain calm and began to negotiate, attempting to convince Garvosa to leave them in peace and not return. Garvosa's right hand man turned to his boss and insisted they should leave in peace, however the Hutt was not so easily fooled, sensing something was awry, though he could not be certain what it was. Perhaps out of frustration or pure malice, he ordered a henchman to disembowel Zhane and then set the workshop on fire.
Mythus collapsed to his knees in despair as his adoptive father's entire life's work burned around them. He managed to pull the frail body to safety. Zhane's last words spoke proudly of how successful Mythus had become and how he'd planned to give him full ownership of the business that very same night, knowing he was not long for this world anyway and had no children of his own. He cradled the old man's head as the life faded from his eyes.
Shaking with overwhelming emotion - anger, despair, sheer loss - Mythus was not the same after that night.
Background: Originally the third of four children to two poor parents who worked farmland on a backwater world. When Master Kothari briefly stopped on their world in search of force sensitive children, they found Mythus' family. They knew he would have a better life as a Jedi, living on Coruscant where he would be educated and provided for rather than on a world in the lawless outer rim where their very livelihoods could be threatened by a bad harvest and pirate raiders alike.
Twelve years later, after Zhane Alden was murdered, he turned his skills towards vengeance. He had little money left after Garvosa's hired muscle trashed or appropriated his workshops, but it was enough for his plan. He worked in a secluded warehouse they had recently purchased to aid his future plans to expand the business. Here there were raw materials and tools for him to use, and his savings were enough to pay for several months of basic provisions.
Several inactive droids also lay dormant in the warehouse. He'd secured multiple older models for an incredible bargain scarcely three weeks prior. Taking a rusty R2 unit, he cleaned it up, reprogrammed it and installed a special package.
Mythus took the R2 unit out onto the streets, timing his supposedly casual stroll with one of Garvosa's usual thug patrols - a daily show of force to keep the locals in line. He deliberately provoked them, although his anger was genuine. They dolled out a quick beating, leaving him gasping for air, before turning their attention to his astromech. They began to question where he got it, considering his livelihood had just been destroyed.
He became frightened, explaining it was all he had left from the business and was going to sell it to some off-world traders so that he could skip town. The thugs laughed and prepared to destroy it as one last insult.
However, Mythus had other plans, and utilised his persuasive abilities to convince the dull-witted thugs of what he wanted.
"The droid is in excellent condition, it is very valuable," he said. "You don't want to destroy it."
"The droid is in excellent condition, it is very valuable," they answered in unison. "We don't want to destroy it."
"You should take it to Garvosa as a gift and he will reward you."
"We should take it to Garvosa as a gift, and he will reward us."
With that, they turned to leave with the droid as Mythus begged them to change their minds. Instead, they laughed, finding the amusement in not only stealing his last possession, but then delivering it to the Hutt who killed his father.
That evening, there was an explosion in Garvosa the Hutt's club, killing him and his closest lieutenants.
Following this, the balance of power in the district changed and one of Garvosa's rivals claimed his territory. Mythus began using the name Garen Zendu. He visited the new gang in town and admitted to killing Garvosa. Impressed, the new gang lord gave him a job as a machine head, creating whatever he desired from bombs to rigged speeders to over-charged blasters.
Of course, once word spread, Garvosa the Hutt's father - the illustrious Gorbula the Hutt - placed a bounty of five thousand credits on Garen Zendu's head. The pay would be double if he was brought in alive.
Fortunately, Garen's current employers saw fit not to turn him in, both to spite another rival and because of his mechanical skills. Over the years, the bounty has steadily increased as several new bounty hunters try and fail to capture him under the protection of his gang.
Personality: Reclusive and cautious after what happened to his adoptive father, he is nonetheless ambitious and intelligent. He is typically calm and logical, however he has become selfish in order to survive. He puts himself first and no longer seems to care how many others are hurt or killed as a result of his work done for a crime syndicate. Such is life on Nar Shadaa - Mythus does what he must do to survive.

Approx. Weight: 170 lbs
Appearance: Cam's skin is light with the unhealthy pallor of someone who spends a lot of time in space. His hair is naturally blond but he keeps it dyed electric blue. A set of blast goggles hangs around his neck and he always wears a dirty Corellian pilot's jacket that once belonged to his mentor Garik Maal
Who they were enslaved to as a child: N/A
How they escaped slavery: Cam's freedom was bought at the auction block by a human smuggler named Garik Maal. Maal detested the practice of slavery and saw promise in Cam, so he used his recent gambling wins to "purchase" the boy and immediately free him. Overcome with gratitude, Cam decided to stick with Maal who became the boy's mentor and father figure.
Current Profession: Smuggler, pilot, smuggler pilot
Personal items/equipment: The Merkabah, DL-18 blaster pistol, dataslate, toolkit, R4 series astromech droid, half empty package of cigarettes
Background: Cam was born on Tatooine. His moisture farmer parents were more than happy to give him up to Master Kothari. Using a stash of credits he'd saved up over the years Cam acquired his own ship and started plying the smuggling routes on his own. He still maintains an amicable relationship with Garik and the two see each other often.
Personality: On the outside, Cam is a very rakish and laid back fellow. Few things can get a rise out of him and he approaches problems with a very logical and detached view. To most he is a quintessential smuggler. But beneath the exterior lies a man of utmost seriousness, willing to go to any lengths to fight for a cause he sees as just.
Other:
-The Merkabah: Cam's ship is a Corellian Engineering YT-1300 light freighter modified for stealth and increased stowage capacity at the expense of speed. Most notable of its many modifications is the cloaking generator, an expensive device that renders the Merkabah invisible to the naked eye and most sensors. The ship is Cam's pride and joy and he takes any insult against it very personally
-The current Imperial bounty on his head stands at 8,000 credits
Character Name: Serina "Sera" Ajaxis
Alter ego: Zira
Age: 18
Species: Human
Height: 5'8
Approx. Weight: 140 lbs
Appearance:
Who they were enslaved to as a child: Xader Korbala, a nobleman in exile on Tatooine. Sera was sold to an older human warlord from another planet who was forced into exile after his regime fell. Fortunately for him, he had friends in the form of the Hutt clans of Tatooine. Sera was purchased to staff his estate there along with several others of her kind. Xader had few children and soon took a liking to Sera who was given the slave name of Zira when she was purchased. The two bonded well for years, the older warlord imparting his years of experience, wisdom, and many learned lessons and principles upon the young Sera. At some point when she was a bit older, she was caught by the aging Xader taking one of his speeder bikes for joyrides and to race in the badlands of Tatooine with other youths. Instead of punishing her (although he was still a fair bit cross that she'd taken the bike without asking) Xader insisted on observing her race. She seemed to be naturally talented which gave Xader an idea. Soon enough, Sera was podracing on small circuits and then after proving her skill in the cockpit, she eventually made her way to the pros, competing (and usually winning) every race she could participate in. She made her master more than one fortune in just a few years time.
How they escaped slavery: Unfortunately for Xader he was a bad investor and even worse with cards. When Sera came of age, she used some of her race winnings to buy her freedom from her former master and the two parted solemnly, having long shared a sort of Father-daughter relationship. Sera eventually left Tatooine behind her, chartering a ship to take her and her podracer into Hutt space in search of glory on the track.
Current Profession: Professional Podracer.
Personal items/equipment: DL-44 Blaster pistol, Assorted tools, pilot gear, Podracer Quicksilver
Background: Sera was born on the world Corellia and orphaned by the Clone War. She had no real choice but to live in a state run orphanage until she was found by Master Kothari, who she was happy to go with to escape the poverty of the orphanage.
Personality: She is very confident in her own abilities and headstrong. Most would attribute her general demeanor to her Corellian roots, and she would have to agree, being very proud of her home planet's history and culture. She is also considered a prodigy when it comes piloting and this is also often attributed to her Corellian roots. Though those who know her could almost say that her abilities were almost...supernatural.
Other: The Quicksilver is Sera's own personal custom podracer powered by dual TGX900 series Leviathan repulsorlift engines.

Who they were enslavd to as a child: A smalltime smuggler
How they escaped slavery: Master was killed
Current Profession: Droid operator/tracker
Personal items/equipment: Exotic clothes, a double barreled blaster pistol, droid interface implant, and a small scout droid
Background: Born and forgotten all within the same day, Taric was put up for adoption the day he was born and led an unremarkable life of schooling and work at an orphanage, until two mysterious strangers entered his life. They introduced themselves as potential adopters, and after some talking with the boy, they found him to be force sensitive. They quickly scooped him up and moved on with their mission, and Taric thought nothing of it as he had always dreamed of visiting far off worlds since his youngest moments. Picked up early on the Jedi`s mission, they slowly worked with the boy to learn of his talents, mostly being his sharp tongue and quick reflexes. They worked on those as the mission progressed and he enjoyed the attention he received while under their guidance. Months past, many children were brought onboard, and then his past of being forgotten was relived as Order 66 was passed and the ensuing chaos got him sold on the slave market, to a smuggler looking for a lackey. He was treated well, and was taught many things by his master, but he was taught most of all to shoot and control the droids that the smuggler used for cargo, even having Taric implanted with a droid interface unit. The smuggler had a knack for getting himself in trouble with gambling, and thus earned himself a hefty amount of enemies, meaning he had to know how to talk his way out of any situation and if that failed, to kill them before they killed you. Having to work with the smuggler, Taric, was taught how to talk and shoot his way out of most everything. The two escaped many a situation that turned sour, but eventually the debts caught up to them.
On a visit to Nar Shadaa, a gambling game went sour for the smuggler, and on his attempt to flee the port, he was shot and killed. Taric was fortunately not onboard the ship and came back to find his master dead. He quickly vacated the premises, knowing security would show up and blame him, and attempted to find work in the port. After many nights of sleeping on the streets, he found a local group of bounty hunters looking for a droid operator to replace the last one that had been killed. Taric took the job, and swiftly took to learning how to work the scout droids the bounty hunters used to find their prey. Months past and he learned how to track just about anything with his scout droid, then proficiently find and kill or capture them. Personality: Loud, Rebellious, and Cold. Taric has a way with words, but always comes off as condescending and generally up stuck.
Other: Following his like for exotic things, he has had his feline like qualities surgically modified to bring them out and a bionic tail of his own making.
