Ah, thanks, although I think I quite like the picture I found in the end. Might swap to elf or half elf for racial diversity though.

Are the dwarves going to be a playable race in this? I'm quite interested in the idea of playing a dwarf runesmith.

Are the dwarves going to be a playable race in this? I'm quite interested in the idea of playing a dwarf runesmith. I had thought about allowing dwarves, but they are always been very anti-magic in my eyes, with the exception of enchanting, runecrafting and possibly healing magic via the old DnD favourite Dwarf Cleric. In the case of this game though, they'd be limited to two schools and be at a disadvantage, while I'd think they'd learn their own craft in their own lands, with the Dwarves on staff being fully trained Runesmiths So, rambling cut short, no, no dwarf PCs i'm afraid. Meanwhile, here's your Druid Instructor Character name: E'Sara T'oshiva Race:Elf Gender: Female Life Goal: To ensure that Nature is still respected and Valued, Quirks: Incredibly cheerful and good natured, hates those who disrupt the natural cycle. Appearance: Bio: Born in the Elven Forests to kind if rather distant Parents, E'sara has grown up with respect for nature and living creatures practised and taught from a young age, when she was 22, in elf terms still a child, she was wandering the forest when she discovered the corpse of a Panther, impaled on the antlers of a Stag she had been hunting and and joined her in death. Although a sad sight, what truly gripped her heart was the mewing of a young Cub, headbutting his mother in a vain attempt to get her to stand. When the young elf aproached, the club fled a short distance hissing, but would not abandon its mother, so began a month long attempt by the elf to calm and raise the Cub, earning several cuts and sleepless nights for her trouble, but eventually, the cub knew of her intensions and allowed her to help him. E'sara named him Tempest and the two became inseparable, when her magical talents showed themselves a few years later, she was sent to Silver Halls to boith learn to control the Magic, but also learn more about the world and the races that inhabited it, and when she arrived, her faithful friend was at her side as always. When she stepped through the Black Gate and became a student, she was overwhelmed by the depth of study now available to her, and fell into study of the Druid arts more by accident, the scared grove that stood apart from the Academy being the only place that reminded her of home and therefore helped calm her when news of a student death or the stress of study threatened to break her. Druid Magic is strange in that it also includes some aspects of other schools, therefore she was able to give up on the others past a certain point, and spend most of her days in the familiar place of trees and wild creatures, listening to the Druid Instructor teach with Tempest's head on her lap, and she knew what path she had to take. With her licence to practice Druid Magic in hand, she wandered the world as a Magi for Hire, did a short stint as a member of a Guild, before realising she much preferred telling others about the power and radiance of the world than slaying orcs or undead in some dungeon, and with Tempest now feeling his age as an old and scarred cat, she returned to Silver Halls and challenged the Instructor for his post, as is their way. E'Sara won handily, and after a short period where the ex instructor cheerfully taught her the secrets and mysteries of the Groove, was formally presented with the staff of office and began her new role as teacher while Tempest could enjoy his last years in peace in the groove the two friends had spent so much time in together.

Character name: Elissa Myrr Race: Half-Elf Gender: Female Life Goal: To protect her home forest from any further harm. To become a great mage, she wants to be remembered. Quirks: She likes trees and animals better than people, so she often studies outside near the trees. She especially likes wolves, bears and felines, she thinks that they’re awesome creatures. Elissa is most of the time very peaceful and she doesn’t like war, but she thinks that fighting to protect something precious isn’t bad at all, it’s very brave. Sometimes she can have anger issues. Appearance: Bio: Elissa lived together with her parents and younger sister in the forest. In a small treehouse high up in the ancient trees of the northern woods. It was her home, she felt at home. Her family had been living there for generations, it’s believed that the souls of their ancestors still live there or came back in the form of trees. When Elissa was younger she used to talk to those tree spirits. A small pack of wolves had been living near Elissa’s home. The wolves and her family had respect of each other.Elissa had a very happy childhood. When she was 13 a war started between the two big cities of the north. One of the cities was built on the south side of the forest and the other on the north side. So both armies had to travel through the forest before they could reach the enemies castle. And it was believed that the forest was bewitched so the people were afraid of it. This forest held many secrets and legends. Now that there was war the forest was partly destroyed. Many ancient trees, hidden paths and magical wells had been destroyed. That’s when Elissa started to feel hatred towards people and war. Right after that she discovered that she has magical skills, she discovered when she saw what the warlords had done to the forest. The place where many battles were fought had turned in some dead field. It was a sad sight. It made Elissa that angry that she screamed, with that scream she breathed fire. First she was shocked and couldn't believe it. Later she told her father. Her father also had magical skills, but he never went to a magic school. He tried to learn on his own. He could do some element spells and learned Elissa a few spells. But that wasn’t enough for Elissa, she wanted to become stronger, so that she could protect the forest. Her parents didn’t want her to go yet. When she turned 18 her parents gave her permission to go, so she went to the Silver Halls, to become stronger. She wants to become a great mage.

Is it too late to join? This sounds like great fun. If so, is there anyone you specifically could use/abuse in the projected plots? If so, PM me.
