Player event: coolyo294 CastielIn the street at the end of the alleyway a small crowd had gathered, most disgusted or intrigued by the gruesome death scene. Several already had their phones out to record videos of the situation as it unfolded, while others were frantically dialing 999. Michael and Caine stared down before quickly heading back inside the building. They'd be caught on camera if they tried to escape the building that way. As they shut the fire escape door behind them, they heard the tell-tale sound of police sirens screaming their way down the street. Inside the Defender opposite the front of the tower, Donald and his team watched everything happen, brows furrowed in confusion. It could be no coincidence that a gunshot had gone off where they were supposedly going to find a vampire in hiding. Two minutes passed as they kept watching; a crowd formed at the end of the alleyway and not long after a police car pulled up. Two officers got out and hurriedly secured the area, one standing watch with his pistol while the other sealed off the alley with cautionary tape. An ambulance reared around the corner a few minutes afterwards, followed by another police car. Things were becoming incredibly precarious.

Event: First Blood (Part 1) [ Draxy halonachos Deadshot ] Inside the pub, Shannon politely declined the free drink and simply requested the barman's help carrying her unconscious friend outside. He obliged and together they hefted the ox of a man towards the doorway. Once outside, she waved to Anne and August in the van to provide help. However the police outside, just about finished interviewing the two previous men after the paramedics had tended to them, stopped them in their tracks. "What's happened now?" One of them inquired. "Honestly, we're okay - the situation's been dealt with," Shannon answered politely. The officer glanced at the bartender. "Yeah, nothing worth your time officer. Just a rough night, I've banned all the troublemakers." "Still, I have a few questions..."
"Watch who you're talking to," Robert snapped. He already had several excuses in mind for the situation, including the clothes, but before he could say any more Red was on the move. She charged forward, claws and teeth flailing viciously. She tore flesh from Chloe's torso and legs with a savage strike, jaw clamping firmly around her leg. Chloe and several of the other teenagers screamed even as Danny attacked her, a knife now in hand, but she anticipated it and was ready to fight back. The girl dropped to the floor, bleeding profusely, and Red's claws quested forth three times. One missed, going over Danny's head, but the other two connected, ripping into his body. The vampire wasn't yet beaten however and retaliated, but his knife slashes fell short. Red turned to escape, powerful leg muscles ready to propel her away from the fight, but she left her flank exposed to Danny. Slowed by his wounds he was unable to land a telling blow, cursing loudly even as the wolf jumped onto the dumpster, taking up her clothes in her mouth and leaping onto the pub's roof and then dashing over the brick wall at the far end of the alleyway. Alarmed by the screaming, two officers appeared at the end of the alleyway, already drawing their guns. They arrived too late to see the werewolf flee, instead finding Robert facing a group of teenagers - one bleeding on the floor and the other with a knife out, but also bloodied. "Freeze! Get down on the ground, get down now!" One of them yelled. "Medic! We need a medic!" Shannon peered around the corner, assessing the situation, even as her colleagues hauled Reg into the van and the paramedics hurriedly sprinted past her. "Fuck," Danny cursed, throwing his knife angrily to the floor before turning and kneeling besides Chloe. He gripped his chest, the pain excruciating from where the beast had left its mark. Tom was already beside her. He was an idiot, but he was still her brother and for all his faults, cared about her a lot. "Stay awake Chloe, the paramedics are coming, please stay with me," Tom whimpered, tearing up. The others just stood to one side with their hands up, though they were all horrified at what had happened. Amy had backed away against one wall, shaking uncontrollably. Her face had small droplets of blood on it; the blood of her best friend who had just been mauled in front of her. The police began to move in, one with his gun still pointed at Robert. "On the ground - NOW!"
Danny -2 wounds. Chloe -1 wound.

Event: First Blood (Part 2) [ halonachos Deadshot] In the alley, Nick and Amy tried to explain what had happened but words failed them. The paramedics were trying to work on Chloe, but Danny could tell it wasn't going well. "She's lost too much blood from that severed artery," one commented. Meanwhile the officers handcuffed Robert and Danny, putting them on the ground close to each other and searching them. "Looks like we have... about five grams of cannabis on this one," said the officer that frisked Danny. The paramedics approached, explaining quickly that there was nothing they could do to save the girl. Danny gritted his teeth. He wanted to yell, but kept silent. Tom would be devastated - he could see him crying over her body - and he had to be strong for him. He'd deal with his own grief later. The officers hauled him up and the paramedics began to check him over. "Officer, this one needs to be taken to the hospital. These cuts are pretty bad, looks like some kind of blade injury." "Only he had a knife, could it be self-inflicted?" "No. Definitely caused by something else. Almost looks like an animal did this." "Forget it. I'll ride with you and him to the hospital. He can be questioned later. My colleague can deal with this other one, run him down to the station for questioning first and foremost."
Shannon palmed her phone into her pocket, secure with a photo of the scene in the alleyway, as she watched their van rumble to life and exit the car park. The others would wait around the corner while she enacted a plan. She was determined to kill that vampire, and she had her suspicions about the other one that they were arresting. She pretended to drop her wallet by the police car, taking advantage of the increasingly large crowd on the other side who were curious to find out what happened, she slid under the car. Using her toolkit, she got to work cutting the fuel line. It didn't take long for her to finish, with her expansive skills. She stood back up, acting nonchalant, only to find herself facing an albino man with red eyes. "What were you doing to that car?" He asked. Unbeknownst to Shannon, John had arrived several minutes ago and seen everything unfold. Intelligently, he'd held back and observed the developing situation, knowing he couldn't rescue his blood brother without drawing too much attention. The behaviour of this woman and the people she spoke to in the van had gotten him curious, most curious indeed. It was extremely peculiar, and he was always alert for threats. He inhaled deeply, sniffing audibly. "I smell... petrol. Seems this car has sprung a leak."

“Uh, how disgusting!” Red threw the collar in disgust, where the it clattered against the wall, the torn belt still attached loosely. Out of all the wolves she’d played, he was amongst the worst. A collar really? Was he into that stuff? And how thick could you get, to take everything she said to heart. Was he too generous, too kind perhaps? Or was his mind just filled with thoughts of sex, once exposed to a little bit of sway to her hips and a private striptease? Pfft! Pathetic. Men were all the same. It had been close though, her plan came so close to failing. She’d been taken by surprise when the group emerged from the side door. It wasn’t meant to be like that! They couldn’t have the confrontation here and not now! Her mind became clouded with anger and she tore forward attacking her prey. It was that vampires fault, it was all falling apart! His fault that she couldn’t remove the nuisance! She needed to hurt him but how?
The girl! She’d watched them dance around each other all night. It was instinct as her teeth sunk into her leg. The taste of blood coated her tongue, and her mind drifted into bliss, she fought down the urge to feast. That wouldn’t do at all. She needed to be like her! She hated being alone! She needed someone who would understand and live like she did! Not some cheap rip off who claimed to be kin! It just wasn’t fair! Why was her world filled with them? The Lycanthrope who allowed themselves to be devoured by a mindless beast who only knew of food and sex and yet claimed the name werewolf whilst their mind was not truly their own, when they were submissive to their beast. They were fake, not like a true werewolf like herself, whom kept her mind at all times. Disgusting. The fakes were disgusting! They should all just die! And that had been the plan. Whilst she could be mistaken for a dog at just a glance or in the dark. It was quite obvious that she was a Lycanthrope if you knew what you were looking for and hunters most certainly did. Red intended to get caught on as many cameras as possible, with her so called ‘owner’ whilst avoiding her own identity from being blown. She had checked earlier that there were no cameras where she changed in that pubs alley and it was the same here to, she would leave via the rooftops even, just to be sure. Once that had been done it would be all too simple to draw attention to herself, with a bloody kill in front of a camera for example. It would be all too easy then to check the rest of the cities cameras to find her again and whom she was with…
If she was a betting girl would give him a month at most before he met the hunters’ bullet. No that was too generous for that guy, best make it a week. And if she got the identity of the hunters out of the deal, well that was just an added bonus. It was almost all too easy to lure him in through the use of her honeyed words, a bit of flesh and promises to strike at their enemy. The hunters! The vampires! But, after what happened now though? Her thoughts drifted once again to that fight, she’d snapped out of her rage as soon as she heard the panicked voices that didn’t belong… that was right the police were already on scene, well them. She grinned as she turned tail and fled, leaving the vamp bloody but still alive and the rest of his friends unturned much to her chagrin. Though perhaps it wasn’t such a big fuck up after all. She couldn’t help but snigger at what she heard from behind the wall, the authoritive voice demanding to “Freeze!” It was certainly different from what she had planned, but with police attention and those types of wounds? Perhaps the fake would be meeting the hunters’ bullet soon after all and if not? Well perhaps she should just deal with the pest herself.

Event: First Blood (Part 3) [ halonachos Deadshot] "Yeah? Haven't noticed anything," replied Shannon as she started to walk directly away from the scene of her espionage. John didn't waste a moment. He sprinted over towards the police officers, the closest one being the one escorting Robert to the car. He didn't even look at his blood brother, acting as if they were strangers. He put on his most distressed-sounding voice. "Officer, officer! I just saw that woman tampering underneath your car. It smells of leaking petrol now, I think maybe you should take a look." "Is that so? Thank you for coming forward. Hey, hey Bill! Stop that woman over there, I need to speak to her for a second," he ordered, still holding onto Robert by the cuffs. The one called Bill nodded and then re-handcuffed Danny to the inside of the ambulance, insisting to the paramedics he'd be back in a second. Afterwards, he turned and walked past where the bartender was speaking to the gathering of concerned civilians, politely insisting that the police had everything under control and that they should head back inside. Most weren't buying it. "Excuse me ma'am, I need you to stop for a moment!" Bill shouted, hurrying towards Shannon. In a few seconds he would be standing next to her.

"Shit, fuck." Shannon cringed in thought, "What do I... what would... sounds like a man, sounds official. Fucker told the cops I did something!" she realized. "Oh yeah. Men fall for damsels." she thought of the absolute saddest things in her life and tears began to well up, she had seen enough tapes of traumatized people to get a grasp on the concept. She kept her pace towards the van, "they're in their own world" she thought, "they don't really notice others."
"Her... everywhere, just blood." she muttered, "She's probably dead, my god, my god, oh my god."
"Ma'am." Bill said as he approached the woman, "Ma'am I need to speak to you." She kept muttering and began to recreate a thousand yard stare as the clack of the officer's steps got closer. " he placed a hand on her and she froze in place,
"Ma'am we have some questions for you." he continued as Shannon kept mumbling something about the cuts and guts she saw before pretending to snap to.
"S-s-sorry." Shannon cried, "I, I don't want to talk. It's bad, just so, so bad. She clutched the officer's sleeves and pulled her face into his sleeves, she could make out his belt. "I want to get away from the blood. The albino man too, I can't believe he would do something like that. I...I need to shower. I have to shower."
"Please buy it, please just let me go." she thought to herself.

"Hold on just a second. Just, just hold on, calm down," said Bill. He gently detached the clinging woman from himself.
"What are you talking about ma'am? My superior officer over there needs to speak with you. Seems he's talking to your albino man. I can see you're afraid but there's no need to be, everything is under control now. Please, just come back over here so we can speak and hear your side of the story."
Meanwhile, the other officer instructed Robert to lie face down on the ground several meters away from him, still handcuffed, while he quickly knelt down to examine the underside of his patrol car. John stood a short distance away - not close enough to be suspicious, but close enough to do something, if necessary.
"Definitely leaking," he muttered.

"I can't!" she stammered, "He's with them, he was there, you saw what they did to that girl! They're monsters!"
Shannon put her face into her hands, the situation was looking like it was going to turn sour for her and she would probably need to do something she'd regret, but as long as she could keep stalling and keep moving slightly back towards the van she'd be fine. All she needed to do was get into the van.

A gunshot brought the heads in the Defender snapping up towards the fire escape near the roof, but the streetlighting made it difficult to make out any detail. A brief struggle and a figure pitched over the banister.
Scream. Splatter.
Donald winced “I think that’s our cue. Scar, wait here, weapons ready and cover the front. Doors locked until we return and be ready to move if needs be. Bullrush, leave your hammer here and go and see what you can find out from the crime scene, once that’s done join Scar covering. Stonewall, come with me. Leave your shield and carry your shotgun as well concealed as possible. We’ll head round the building and see if we can find the other exits and find if we can have a word with the people leaving new pavement decorations lying around. Listen out on your earpieces and be ready to move at a moment’s notice. Clear?”
A chorus of affirmatives. The men dismounted and Scar locked the doors. Bullrush headed across the street to mingle with the crowd, acting like a curious bystander as he headed to the scene of the splatter. Donald and Stonewall slipped down a side alley, heading round the back of the building away from the crowds and into the quiet back streets.
