Player event: Castiel coolyo294Leon watched from his nearby secluded spot as the Land Rover's doors swung open and three men stepped out. The first had short-cropped black hair and blue eyes, the second had leathery skin that was covered in scars and was trying to conceal what looked like a rifle or a shotgun beneath his coat. But Leon noticed. The third had no particularly distinguishing features, but was headed in a different direction to the other two. He counted another person, a woman with a notable scar running down her left cheek, who remained inside the vehicle. Bullrush moved into the edge of the crowd by the alley, catching a glimpse of the grim scene further up. "What happened?" He asked casually. "Someone shot him off the side of the tower!" Said one man. "No, that's not true - he was pushed," answered another. "It was a suicide! He shot himself as he jumped." "Don't listen to them. I've got the entire thing on video, look," a young woman with a conveniently large phone replayed the grisly recording. "There were two men up there with him. I saw the whole thing from my apartment across the road. They had guns as well." "Excuse me ma'am, we'd like to have a word with you," one of the two police officers said, leading her away. After a few more moments the same officer headed back to his patrol car to speak on the radio. Bullrush didn't catch much, but he managed to hear 'armed response unit' and 'asap.'
Elsewhere, Stonewall and Donald had gotten close to the garage door that was slightly below the street level. On one side was a digital lock - reasonably high-end - that Donald was already working on with his hacking kit, while Stonewall kept lookout. Donald's lips curled into a satisfied half-smile as he successfully hacked the door, and it began to open upwards. The pair quickly ducked underneath and sprinted inside, weapons at the ready even as the door closed behind them. The internal car park was devoid of life, though there were a few company cars, and so they headed upstairs, careful to avoid the reception. As they neared the offices they found the body of a dead security guard, his neck snapped. Both stopped and took up hidden positions on either side of the double-doors to the offices when they heard frantic voices from within. "How the hell are we going to get out of here now?" Said Caine. "Not sure. Keep your eyes sharp, there's got to be something we've missed," Michael reassured his subordinate. They were currently retracing their steps, and turned passed the elevator to the penthouse suite towards the double doors to the stairwell. "Going... down." An artificial voice chimed. Michael and Caine froze, slowly turning their heads. The elevator on the top floor was fast approaching their floor.

Player event: halonachos Deadshot"Alright, alright, take it easy," Bill reassured Shannon. "Listen, that albino bloke seems a bit weird as it is. For what it's worth I believe you but please calm down and everything will be okay." He smiled warmly at her, gesturing for her to come with him. "Bill!" The first officer shouted again, standing back up to his full height and placing his hand on this gun. "Arrest that woman on suspicion of attempted murder." Bill's mouth fell open slightly in surprise. He regained his composure after a second and began to turn on Shannon, reaching for his cuffs. "I'm sorry ma'am but... get on the floor and put your arms behind your back!"

"I... I don't know why you're doing this to me." Shannon began to comply with the officer. "He's the one who did it all, he did something to the car and gave me his stuff. He told me to take it and go or else..."
Shannon looked at the positioning of the albino man and the arrested stranger from the alley. He was very inent on watching the scene.
"He made me take all sorts of odd things. I thought maybe he was an undercover cop because he had a gun and handcuffs, but then threatened to kill me if I told anyone. He said his friend was getting arrested for killing that girl and he'd do the same if I didn't do what he said. He told me to take his stuff and walk slowly away, you've got to understand. I couldn't do anything and then you come to arrest me... maybe that's why, he wanted to get closer to your partner and his friend."
"Officer, Bill" Shannon said scared, "He has something bad planned, I don't want to be near him. Please don't make me go near him."

Bullrush eased out of the crowds, and headed back towards the Defender. He chapped on the door and Scar quickly let him in. He climbed in and activated his earpiece “Chief, here’s the story: two guys got in a scuffle with that security guard. All three were armed. The guard fired before one of the other two buntzed him off the edge into his final dive. Suspects are both armed and dangerous, so be on your guard. Whatever you’re up to, I suggest you do it quickly. I heard some of the cops calling for an armed response unit, and I don’t reckon we want to get caught up in that. Over.”
-------------------------------------------
“Roger that, good work Bullrush!” Donald replied. “We’ve found the other guard near the offices, neck snapped. No signs of struggle or feeding. Keep your eyes peeled, we’ll have a look for another minute or so, then head back before the police can cordon the joint off. Over and out”
He signalled to Stonewall to continue, the two moving forwards covering each other, weapons at the ready. As they neared the offices they heard voices from within, and quickly flattened themselves against the walls either side of the door.
"How the hell are we going to get out of here now?" said the first, a slight edge of nerves to his voice.
"Not sure. Keep your eyes sharp, there's got to be something we've missed," came a second, calmer and more reassuring. They were coming closer.
Donald peered round the corner, able to make out the shapes of two figures approaching the doors. He signalled to Stonewall. 2 opponents. Heavy armour, be ready.
"Going... down." An artificial voice chimed. The figures froze, slowly turning. The elevator on the top floor was fast approaching their floor.
“Go.” Donald signalled pointing back down the corridor, and he and Stonewall took off, heading back down the corridor they had come up at a quick but quiet pace, taking advantage of the unknown figures distraction to sneak away. He opened a channel to Scar and Bullrush. “Bring the bus round to the back, park by the garage door. Keep it inconspicuous. Be ready, this could be a hot extraction.”

Outside the building, Leon continued to observe the situation as the two men headed towards the building. He activated his earpiece. "Michael, I've spotted three tangoes getting out a car in the vicinity. One headed off towards the crowd, the other two are headed your way I think. All armed.. Not sure who they are, but they don't look like cops. Speaking of cops, I heard them call for a heavy response team. You need to get the hell out of there now, over" Leon said.
"Relax, Leon. Remember Lisbon? We've been through worse. But I hear you loud and clear. Be ready to bounce on my signal." Michael said.
"Roger that. I'll let you know when the cops show up. Leon, out."
"How the hell are we going to get out of here now?" Caine asked as they passed the elevator that lead to the penthouse.
"Not sure. Keep your eyes sharp, there's got to be something we've missed," Micheal reassured him. Suddenly he heard what sounded like movement coming from the other side of the office floor. He stopped dead and motioned for Caine to do the same. But as they readied their weapons the mechanical voice of the elevator dinged behind them. "Going... down."
"I guess that fucking wolf was lying after all." Michael grunted. "Caine, stay in front of me and move fast. I'll guard our rear. If things look bad, you have your wingsuit. Go out a window and link up with Leon. Get back to the safehouse and I'll meet up with you if I can. Understood?" Michael said. Caine nodded. "Good. Move!"

Robert stood in silence as the scene played out in front of him, taking in his options. The sudden rampage and violence from Red had completely fucked him over. Then he was in handcuffs, the cold steel biting into his wrists, but he ignored the pain as he figured how to escape. He could wait until they were in the car, morph and escape that way, but it would be bloody for the officers involved, and the chavvy bastard who started this shit. Then John ran up to the officer and grassed out the woman by the car. Her acting skills were poor to be sure, but enough to seemingly convince the officer she was speaking to as he reluctantly handcuffed her, indicating towards John. John, meanwhile, did his best to blend with the crowd. His skillset was naturally suited to that of stealth. despite the fact he looked so different, people actually avoid looking at him, so they don't appear rude or prejudiced against his skin tone. It would normally be easier to slip into the crowd but he had attention of the officer and the hunter woman. She was clearly a hunter. Everything, on the surface at least, appeared to be just as it should. But some things stood out to the brothers. she was dressed a little too nicely for this area of town, where a new pair of jeans or a button up shirt was considered posh. Her voice and grammar as well were a little too proper. And she had been clearly tampering with the car that Robert was being loaded into, so she was either hunting him or maybe the other guy they had arrested. A leech maybe? Robert tapped his foot on the pavement, five quick taps in rapid succession. It was their code, for when they couldn't verbally communicate. Find Rick. John took a last glance over to the woman gesturing at him. She was a terrible actress but she was somehow succeeding in convincing the cop that he was somehow to blame. If he left now the plan would be blown. He rolled his shoulder twice, then tapped his foot. Distraction. "Oi lad, you better not be putting me in that there car, naw with yer woman mucking about with it here now!" Robert shouted at the officer nearest him. "She's trying to blow you away she is there, seen it millions of times up north I did! I'm not getting in there!" "Sir, calm down." "No I won't bloody calm down! She's fucking IRA or one of them Muslim lovers she is, fucking CAR BOMB she's planted!" He made sure to shout the words "car bomb" so the crowd gathered would hear. Even now they looked around uneasy. "You fucking put me in that car I'm sueing the arse clean off you! You, yer maw, yer da, yer bosses and yer bloody dog! I'm no getting BLOWN UP cuz a you!" "Sir, calm down, right now, you're scaring the people here." The officer looked at him sternly. "Blood fucking right they should be scared. SHE'S a fucking TERRORIST!"
As the crowd focused on Robert and the potential terrorist in their midst, John slipped away.

"Terrorist?" Shannon thought, "This bloke must be stupid."
The crowd had gathered and she noticed that the albino was nowhere to be seen.
"Oh god," Shannon said to Bill, "He's gone now. The other one's gone, they know I told you about him. Please officer, you've seen what they did to that poor girl and her friends, you have to stop them. First the pale man threatens to kill me if I don't go along with his plan and now that one's calling me IRA... I, I've never been to Ireland and I..." she hung her head low, "I don't even have anything that could blow a car up! They just wanted to make me a distraction! They murdered that girl and they wanted to stop you from arresting him, that has to be why, now his friend ran away while he was calling me a terrorist. Theyre gonna kill me, I know they are, I told you about what he made me do, he knows I did, and now that he's gotten away he's going to find a way to stop you from taking his friend and do to me what they did in the alley to those kids! You have to stop them."

Donald and Stonewall made it to the bottom of the corridor, quickly turning and breaking into a full run now that they were out of sight of the doors. Behind them Donald thought he heard the sound of doors bursting open. Retracing their steps at high speed they clattered down a set of stairs and out into the underground garage. They raced through the deserted space to the doors. Donald found the switch to open it and quickly pressed it. Without waiting for the door to open fully he and Stonewall rolled out under it and popped to their feet as the Defender rounded the corner and slammed to a stop in front of them, the doors swinging open. Donald and Stonewall jumped in, slamming the doors behind them. “Get us out of here, Bullrush.”
“Aye aye, boss!” Bullrush replied, gunning the engine. The Defender roared off, exiting the alley and joining with the main traffic on the street outside. “Keep with the traffic and don’t do anything to make us look suspicious. Take us back to base. Scar, you and Stonewall keep a look out for anyone tailing us.”

Player event: coolyo294 CastielThe unmistakable sound of a helicopter filled the air. The craft was jet black with police emblems on each side, a mounted camera and searchlight combination underneath the pilot seat. It began circling the Cartwright tower, illuminating pitch-black offices. Far below, two similarly black-coated APCs arrived, with most impressed by the sheer swiftness of their response time. Two squads of riot officers debarked from the vehicles and moved in an orderly fashion to secure the perimeter, moving civilians away from the scene of the crime. One squad walked confidently up to the front doors, where the sole surviving security guard allowed them access.
"Shit," muttered Stonewall as blue and red lights filled the Defender's mirror view. "We've got a patrol car on our tail. Must have spotted us speeding off after the rapid extraction." The police car sped up, closing to within a few meters of the hunter's vehicle. One of the officers yelled out of the window, "Pull over immediately!"
Caine and Michael stood at the top of the stairwell. They could hear heavy bootfalls approaching and so they turned back, shutting the doors behind them. "What now, stand and fight?" Caine pondered. "We could make a barricade." Ding. The elevator's doors opened. The hunters readied their weapons. There was a pause, and no one exited the elevator, which they could not see inside from their current position by the doors. "I smell your fear," that same bass voice spoke once more. "I should kill you both now for clumsily alerting the authorities... however as much as I loathe to say it, we may need each other to escape this predicament alive. What say you, hunters? Fight with me or die facing me with the rest of them."

Player event: halonachos DeadshotBill led the handcuffed Shannon over towards where his superior and the also handcuffed Robert was being closely watched. "I can't make heads or tails of these conflicting stories right now. I'm calling for another car and we'll take them both down to the station to figure this mess out," he said. "Watch them both carefully." Bill nodded and kept the pair against the wall of the pub, hand on his weapon, as his colleague reached into the car and made a quick call on the radio. "Copy that, we have a van in the area that's already picked up several rowdy drunks - the usual. I'll inform them of your situation and direct them to provide assistance ASAP." As they waited, Bill read them their rights. However, in an extremely unprofessional manner, he neglected to search them beyond confiscating Shannon's toolkit.
Not ten minutes later the police van arrived and three more officers got out to secure the area. Shannon and Robert were promptly led into the back and secured with the other arrested people, all of them working or lower class. They were both placed inside small, cramped metal cages, still handcuffed. The doors slammed shut behind them, and after they heard the front doors shut again, the van began to move. They were en route to the police station. One officer was in the back with them sitting behind the chained-off driver compartment. He gave Robert and Shannon a look over, refusing to take his eyes off them, his expression one of extreme suspicion. Robert and Shannon couldn't help but exchange a glance also, as they were secured directly opposite each other in the two cells closest to the watchful officer. His hand hovered uncomfortably close to his holstered pistol, the black eye he'd no doubt received from one of the caged drunks only added to his unwelcoming demeanor.
