Are we keeping you up there, Asherian? Apparently. Hador hasn't lived in a building in years. So you can expect him not to like the slightest noises, as he gets quite paranoid. XD

Character name: Julius Portson Race: Human Gender: Male Age: 19 Life goals: To provide wards and enchantments throughout the kingdom, especially to inquisitors so that he may better serve the common good. Quirks: He detests arrogance, and isn't afraid to show displeasure with his hammer or fists. Has a thing for forging his own weapons and armour, for practice. Appearance: Pictured here just before heading out to the Silver Halls Bio: He'd been smithing when it happened. His hammer fell upon the steel sword and suddenly he was flying across the room, arcs of lightning linking his hand, the heavy hammer, and the blade upon the anvil. He was barely standing before his friend and master, Marrick, took a look and ran. The young smith barely knew what was going on when the rest of the Villiage came to him with sorrowful eyes and hard hearts. They told him that he would have to travel to the far south, to where his mother went all those years ago. Julius lived to the far north, in a village that sat in the centre of a wide wood of pine. He was always tall and strong, and when he turned ten he was seconded to the blacksmith of the village, as well as the captain of their small guard. Wielding hammer and broadsword, wearing apron and armour, he became skilled in the tasks he was given in the village. It was at the age of sixteen that his magic manifested fully, and the small remote place he called home was forced to send him off after his mother who had left many long years ago for Silver Halls Academy - almost a myth to the villagers. He set off with tales of the Silver Halls ringing in his ears, of the immense good that magi could do - he had never seen one at home. As he traveled, he learned more of Magi, and of Inquisitors. The latter fascinated him, and as smithing was his trade and pleasure he decided that he wished to make arms for them. Having lived in a dangerous place for all of his life, his journey was easier than one would think. Even so, he had to fight to reach the central empire, and was eighteen by the time he was admitted to the academy. He doesn't hunt for his mother, but the young smith knows that his village wants him to do good, and he wishes to learn how to both make his creations more powerful, and keep his magic under control.
