The plan is to start as an Open Hand Fighter (for your reference, Plague, that's in the Advanced Player's Guide), then multicast into some Ranger archetype, them finally qualify for the Shadow Dancer prestige class.
Plague, what level of technology are we talking? If we're introducing guns, my plan is I buy a blunderbuss to fire before closing to melee.

I'm going to try and write my character now, making heads and tails of the Pathfinder book is quite different to what I'm used to.

I'll probably also give you a sheet sometime around 1 AM. Going for a bag of javelins in lieu of the blunderbuss. Also, I have some important questions:
Alignment or Taint? Personally, I find Taint to be a far superior system to Alignment, since you can get into some wackadoodle nuttiness with Alignment restrictions, like Blackguards needing to be actively evil all the time. Taint seems to offer more flexibility. If you go for Taint, I can write out the rules directly from the book.
Are we tracking ammunition? Food? Sleep? Fatigue? Etc

Track Ammunition and depending on the arch, food. Like if you are in rough terrain like mountainous or desert I'll track food because you can't find in open surplus. Fatigue, no.
Mordo we seeing each other on Thursday so you can just lend it to me.

Question: As an Open Hand, I can't use shields, but could we home brew rules for Hellenic lamellar sleeves? It's a row of interlocking metal bands that cover your arm like a sleeve, but leave your hands free. The officers of the Diadochoi occasionally used these sleeves in place of shields. Here's my idea put into mechanics:
Medium Armor AC Bonus: +4 Penalty: 0 Cost: 85 GP Spell Failure: 20%
Let me know what you think of that

Also, this is a chance for you to more easily justify cutting my hands right the hell off if that appeals to you.
Also, if I'm wielding a falcata, how likely am I to get weird looks?
