Name: Stratias Nev
Age: 45 Standard Years Appearance: A young man of small stature and a light build, he is nothing special with a standard “high-and-tight” haircut and light tanned skin. His face is sharp and lean with the cheeks pushed in ever so slightly.
History: A fresh captain who just earned his ship, Nev is a small man with nothing too special going for him, other than the fact he has a knack for “out-thinking” his enemies. Always quiet and calm, he executes procedures and tactics to perfection and to the dismay of anyone on the other side of his guns, their defeat. He has served in the Imperial Navy for 20 years, having enlisted at the age of 25 when he grew tired of his backworld lifestyle, and has been climbing the ranks slowly ever since. He hails from a small agri-world ruling family, and was destine to take over their small fortune and easy lifestyle, but he grew tired of it soon after he got the reigns and became determined to make a name for himself. Handing off the cushy lifestyle to his brother, he enlisted in the Navy and graduated top of his class. Despite the great start, life took a turn for the worse, and on his first assignment, aboard the “Vigilant Justice” a Dictator Class Cruiser; they stumbled across an ork raiding fleet while on patrol. They put up a valiant effort, but failed to hold back the greenskins, and the ship was ravaged and left to the pickings of a terror ship. The survivors aboard the Vigilant put up a resistance for three days, barely holding onto life against the onslaught of greenskin boarders. Nev was one of the survivors and managed to jury-rig the communication gear to signal their home fleet of the attack and the oncoming ork fleet. After hours upon hours of tense fighting, the flow of orks stopped. Distant booms and rattles could be felt in the ship as the ork terror ship was ripped apart by the Imperial fleet coming to recover their wounded brethren. After that engagement, Nev made his way through the ranks until he finally gained the command of a Cobra Class Destroyer, the “Emperor’s hammer”.
Squadron: The Emperor`s Forge
Command Ship: Forge 1 Ship Name: The “Emperor`s Hammer” Ship Class: Cobra Class Destroyer Ship History: A semi-new Cobra which has only seen combat once against a chaos splinter fleet in which it was shorn in two, the Hammer was luckily in a condition to be patched back together. It bears a ragged scar down its otherwise unblemished green and white hull to mark its near escape from death. The ship has since been waiting for a captain to take it over since it`s recent repairs. Ship 'Quirks': The Hammer bears a scar that runs diagonally down from its second turret battery to right behind the torpedo tubes and raps around almost symmetrically; it bears it from its first engagement in which a Chaos Cruiser plowed through the ship and separated the two halves almost perfectly, allowing it to be repaired instead of left to decay. While traveling at speed it groans and shutters due to this, though it causes no other negative effects. The crew is superstitious about it and refuses to have it repainted. Hull: 1 Shield: 1 Maneuverability: Very-High Weapons: Weapons Battery (Strength 1, Medium Range, Battery) Prow Torpedo Tubes (Strength 2, Medium Speed, Torpedo)
Crew: 13552 Tech-Priests: 42 Command Personal: 7
Forge 2
Ship Name: The "Emperor`s Anvil"
Ship Class: Cobra Class Destroyer
Ship History: An old war relic from the Salamander fleet, The "Emperor`s Anvil" has served the chapter for over two millennia with esteemed service amongst that fleet. It participated in both the Second and Third Armageddon Wars with two kills and fifteen assists, it also has joined Vulkan He`stan in his search for the great relics. It was eventually retired out of the fleet due to its old age and its tactical value lowering due to a newer model of the Hunter being produced. Early into its career it was upgraded into a Hunter Class Destroyer and served as that class until it was retired and downgraded back to the Cobra class for the Imperial Navy. It maintains the same chassis, but lacks the extra armor and speed of the upgraded Hunter. It also maintains its captain from the Salamander Fleet.
Ship Quirks: Being so old, the machine spirit and its command crew have served together for 300 years, and therefore fight nearly as one unit instead of multiple, allowing commands to be executed with excellent speed. This unfortunately causes problems with the crews ability to abandon the ship due to their deep bond. The hull of the ship still resembles the Hunter Class Destroyer, but lacks its upgrades. It inspires fear in its enemies, but the trained eye recognizes it is downgraded.

Forge 3
Ship Name: The "Emperor`s Furnace"
Ship Class: Viper Class Cobra Destroyer
Ship History: The "Emperor`s Furnace" is Viper Class Destroyer that was upgraded from its base Cobra before it was truly put into combat. It served in the same squadron as The "Emperor`s Anvil" and "Emperor`s Fire" in the Salamander Fleet. It has served in the last two Armageddon Wars as well, and has seven kills and eleven assists. It has served for longer than the Anvil and Fire, but it has not been as distinguished due to its lack of tactical flexibility, but it has scored two capital class kills. The ship has recently been retired and relegated to the new Crusade fleet to bulk out its numbers without the need of building new ships and has been kept with its original squadron with four replacements to fill out the squadrons losses. It unfortunately lost a good portion of its crew in the retirement and has a relatively new crew.
Ship Quirks: Having a new crew, the ship`s machine spirit has a new perspective into tactics and is able to process them with its older tactics and combine them to great effectiveness, but it has a problem following orders from the newer crew. This causes some slowness in following orders, but when it executes them it does it with deadly efficiency.

Forge 4
Ship Name: The "Emperor`s Fire"
Ship Class: Cobra Class Destroyer
Ship History: One of the remaining three from the original Emperor`s Forge squadron, The "Emperor`s Fire" is the twin to the Anvil as they were both built and upgraded at the same time. It served with the Salamanders throughout the second and third Armageddon wars and scored one kill and 20 assists. It also partook in the search with Vulkan He`stan as well. It was retired at the same time as the Anvil and Furnace and underwent the same downgrade as the Anvil. It also, likes its twin, retained its same crew and commander.
Hull: 1
Shield: 1
Maneuverability: Very High
Weapons:

Prow Torpedo (Strength 2, Medium Speed, Torpedo)
Crew: 14122
Tech-Priests: 63
Command Crew: 11
Forge 5
Ship Name: The "Emperor`s Sword"
Ship Class: Cobra Class Destroyer
Ship History: A fresh chassis that was just produced from a local shipyard, it is untested and unblooded. The crew come from a myriad of different ships and sectors. The "Emperor`s Sword" is a slightly larger chassis due to it being one of the newer Cobra designs, but has no noticeable tactical value from the redesign.
Ships Quirks: Being new, the machine spirit is very open to instruction from the experienced crew and follows orders to the tee.
Its chassis is redesigned compared to the older Cobra`s and so lacks the standard template confusing boarding parties, but also makes it harder for the crew to navigate it as well. This makes travel across the ship slightly more confusing for the crew, but makes it a maze to boarding parties.
Hull: 1 Shield: 1 Maneuverability: Very High Weapons: Weapons Battery (Strength 1, Medium Range, Battery) Prow Torpedo (Strength 2, Medium Speed, Torpedo) Crew: 14002 Tech-Priests: 58 Command Crew: 10
Forge 6
Ship Name: The "Emperor`s Billow"
Ship Class: Cobra Class Destroyer
Ship History: Serving for 3 millennia, The "Emperor`s Billow" is the oldest chassis in the squadron and has served venerably in the Imperial Navy for its entire existence. It has an impressive kill count of fifteen and forty-one assists during the second and third engagements of The Armageddon Wars, along with twenty other kills throughout the rest of its career. It was the lone surviving ship of the Yuctan Incident and was decommissioned for a little over a thousand years to inspect it for taint along with clues to what happened during the engagement. It was re-commissioned over a thousand years later for the Sabbat World Crusades in which it served with great proficiency scoring 4 kills throughout the campaign. Afterwards it was put into backline supply fleets as an escort for the Armageddon Wars. During this time it shot down many an ork raiding ships while managing to stay unscathed. Afterwards it was relegated to fill in a slot for the Garrden Crusade.
Ship Quirks: Being as old as it is, and having been through what it is, the ship`s machine spirit is slow and methodical. This is mirrored in its crew that has served with it for several decades. This leads to a more reserved nature, but a more fierce response when it sees an opening.
The ships hull has been through hell and back and is pitted and scarred, this effects nothing tactically but adds a certain air of venerability around it, raising the moral of the surrounding ships in the Squadron.
Hull: 1 Shield: 1 Maneuverability: Very High Weapons: Weapons Battery (Strength 1, Medium Range, Battery) Prow Torpedo (Strength 2, Medium Speed, Torpedo) Crew: 14473 Tech-Priests: 81 Command Crew: 13
(I have an idea for this ship, if you disagree I`ll change the ships loadout.)
Forge 7
Ship Name: The "Emperor`s Grip"
Ship Class: Cobra Class Destroyer
Ship History: An older ship that has only served in a few engagements, the reasoning being it is an experiment of build. The chassis has been modified to fit a single dual sided launch hanger, the thought being that the problem with Cobra`s and their variations being, they lack the ability to fight fighters. Therefore the Imperial Navy upgraded a batch of Cobra`s to incorporate the fighter screen to protect the whole squadron from fighters along with smaller close-combat oriented ships. It has proved both successful and un-satisfactory, both having saved whole squadrons from destruction from bombers but failing to provide any tactical help for the overall engagement if they squadron never encounters retaliation. Still ever vigilant, the Navy has assigned this ship to further test the tactical value of the ship, in hopes it proves useful or gets destroyed in its failure. This leads the crew to strive to be as useful as possible to prove they are worth it.
Ship Quirks: The ships design is completely redone and therefore confuses boarding parties beyond belief, but its hanger bays allow a clear boarding objective weakening its overall ability to repel the boarders.
The lack of faith in its design by the upper Navy personal, have caused the crew to strive to excel and prove them wrong. This leads to increased zeal and moral but an inability to accept defeat as an option.
The lack of weapons leads this ship to be very vulnerable to counter attack if its fighters are destroyed. This causes the ship to be vulnerable without its fighters and lose all defensive abilities without them (except those provided by allied ships).

The time spent there blighted the Eldar and left them unable to move onto the spirit stones to prevent their souls from being consumed. This has lead to Eldar of the craftworld becoming extreme survivalists. Days after the rescue, and to the dismay of Rubius, the other Eldar Craftworld approached Altansar as a threat and cautiously dealt with the craftworld. Months of this treatment, along with the shunning of those from Altansar, drove Rubius to leave his craftworld and seek an artifact to cure himself of his blight and save Altansar. He winded up on the Asteroid fortress, Coven. He uses its many sources of information and exotic artifact trades to search for his cure.

Player name: Silence
Character name: Lucy Ires Gender: Female Age: 25 Home-world: Recluint V Class: Commander Rank: TBD Appearance: Bio: Born at the turn of the century, Lucy was raised by the Navy, as both her parents were career vets. With her dad as a captain of a Cruiser and her mother head of logistics on Recluint V, she never got to see her parents, but instead was watched over by the multiple Navy academies she attended. Being taught obedience and discipline at an early age kept Lucy out of trouble and allowed her to have an easy childhood. The absence of her parents caused her to be a generally independent person and she strayed away from others rejecting most of their movements of friendship, instead finding her sole friend in an AI named Liyra. The two grew close to each other and Lucy never ventured far without Liyra. It got to the point where she never left her house but to go to the Naval academy.
During her years at the academy she excelled to the top of her class, and by the age of 14 was a prime candidate for the Junior Captains program. Her parents were extremely proud of their daughter, and so pulled strings to get her into the program when she was rejected due to her anti-social mannerisms. For the next 4 years, Lucy was trained to become a Navy officer. These years went great for her, as she was still top of her class and excelled in everything. Through these years, Liyra helped Lucy by teaching her how the systems and subsystems worked, along with shortcuts and bypasses to be more efficient at commanding a ship. This is what gave Lucy her edge over the second in class, Streven Stroud, who had a deep grudge against Lucy for keeping him in her shadow.
Streven was a bright individual as well as popular and stunningly handsome, and people naturally flocked to him. But the near angelic appearance on the outside, covered up the dark hatred on the inside. He had been abandoned as a child and went from orphanage to orphanage, until he was eventually sent to the academy at the age of 8. Being resentful towards the pretty much forced enlistment into the Navy, he rebelled for the first few years of school and got punished for it, by being beat and flogged. This brewed his hatred for the Navy, but he concocted a plan to get back at them. Years of striving to be the best got him into the Junior Captain program, and when Lucy kept ahead of him, he saw his plan start to crumble. When the last year of the program rolled around and the final test was revealed, Streven saw his chance to get back at the Navy and take Lucy down with it.
The final year saw Lucy excelling beyond all the members of her class by a bigger jump than it had been before, as they had finally gotten to working solely with manning a ship. The natural talent of taking command and the knowledge Liyra had given Lucy about subsystems saw her into the leader role indefinitely despite Steven`s popularity. After the final year of simulations and tests, the group was put into command of a real ship. The final test was a mock battle in a real frigate, an old surplus training frig, and required the group to work as a coherent unit to defend against an enemy attack. Streven having already learned what the final test was, planned to exact his revenge then, by sabotaging the ship. When they started the test, Lucy was the captain with Streven heading up the engineering. This gave him access to the ships internals and a way to get off the bridge before he blew it up. Much to the surprise of Lucy, Liyra was installed as the AI in the frigate, with some strings pulled from her parents, and Lucy felt she could pass this test without a hitch. Luck had finally run out for Lucy though.
When the test began, everything went exceptionally well, and everything pointed to a near perfect score, but the time had come for Streven to enact his plan. Suddenly a problem with the communication relay down in engineering pulled Streven out of the bridge. Lucy dismissed it as part of the test, and continued commanding the ship to victory.
The frigate, an unnamed class, was of older design and had a separate reactor for the bridge and other vital systems, which was located underneath the bridge, but the ship had never been put into real service as the reactor was known to explode if it surged. Streven had known this and was about to do exactly that.
As the final two enemy ships were being dispatched, Streven came onto the bridges front display. Tears ran down his face as he laughed and maniacally explained his plan. Meanwhile he had locked out everyone from ship controls, including Liyra. Suddenly the feed cut out and Streven started the chain reaction of power transfer, then the surge hit the reactor. Liyra in the meantime worked furiously around Streven`s lock and managed to get blast doors to seal off half the room, as it was meant to seal incase the glass in the front was breached, and saved Lucy and a few other members on the bridge from instant vaporization. In a flurry of screaming metal and roaring flames the bridge became a hellstorm of shrapnel and destruction. Half of the students on the bridge were vaporized, while those on the other side of the blast door took all the shrapnel and fire.
As soon as medics made it to the bridge, no one but Lucy was still alive, and even then she could barely be considered alive. During the explosion her left arm had been severed by a razor hot sheet of metal that cauterized the wound instantly, meanwhile the rest of her body had been burnt extensively, along with her legs having also suffered as they were a torn mess embedded with shrapnel. The medics were able to keep her alive, but just barely and she had to get extensive amounts of surgery to salvage what was left. Lucy`s Parents sank everything they could into bring Lucy back to life. This included a cybernetic left arm starting from the shoulder down, both legs muscles below her knees were replaced with artificial muscle, and her damaged organs replaced. Lucy essentially became a cyborg.
A year after the event and all the surgeries being complete, Lucy was released out of medical care. She was a shadow of her former self for several years after, with her only companion being destroyed in the events. To make matters worse, her father was killed in action shortly after her release, sending her spiraling even further into depression. At the age of 24, she found a way off of the planet and out of the system that had held her greatest hopes and horrors.
Now searching for a job on a ship, she is looking to start anew and erase the pain of the past away.
