A thread to share and discuss wonderful innovations in modern technology. First up, this revolutionary thing that I am absolutely in love with, it's possibly the best invention of the last decade.
I also heard that over in France they're building a proper, functional fusion reactor. Even more mind blowing is that scientists are figuring out how to turn light into matter (which I cannot even comprehend).

So this is pretty awesome, its a little goofy for serious stuff like this, but its true and awesome. We could potentially be watching Humanity travel the stars within our lifetime, due to this. Well if things line up and the theory works out, but hey if the theory exists that at least means there is hope.

These robots were created and tested as part of a self awareness project. The two robots on the left were given "Dumb pills" that prevented them from responding to the question presented.
The one on the right was not given a "Dumb Pill" and was able to answer the question and through deductive reasoning was able to figure out that it had not been given a "Dumb pill."
One step closer to Skynet, guys...
