Something I want to open up for debate: max stats. Reminder, this is what they look like currently:
WS: 8 BS: 8 S: 5 T: 5 W: 4 I: 6 A: 4 LD: 10
I raised them much higher than in the original Munda rules, which look something like this IIRC:
WS: 6 BS: 6 S: 4 T: 4 W: 3 I: 5 A: 3 LD: 9
My question is, have I made them too high? Do they start to become quite simply unbalanced at a certain point? In particular characters at toughness 5 become absolute tanks - it takes a power weapon or heavy bolter to even wound them on a 4+, with the likes of chainswords and boltguns wounding on a 5+ and lasguns and autoguns barely having a chance at 6+.
It really is pushing the relative durability of a human to the extreme limits which is why I think I'll be reducing the max strength and toughness back down to 4 (although some bionics might increase this). However, while I'm reviewing the max stats in general, I'd like to hear feedback on whether other people think any of the other stats are too high.

I think the max stats probably are too high, we are not soldiers, we don't have training or proper diets, our characters shouldn't be as tough as guardsmen.

They can be - access to military gear/armour combined with living a very dangerous lifestyle and picking up the skills necessary to survive can make them just as deadly as a trained soldier, just without the training or discipline of an actual soldier. Hell, Aegis' lot are ex-guard anyway, same with the enforcers.

So, as some people seem a bit stumped as to what to do other than drive around in the wastes in circles, I'll level the playing field a bit.
In Valorum's, there is a servo skull which since being discovered has just sat in plain sight and does indeed have a clue attached to it which any of you can go and see (probably a good idea if your other plans aren't working out too well).

Looks like Munda isn't as impervious to the shiny effect as I had originally hoped. Still, I'm expecting everyone to stick with this, or else I shall be very disappointed. Widowmakers - 14 hours and 45 minutes remaining Brotherhood of the Black Watch - 15 hours remaining The Doomheads - 16 hours and 30 minutes remaining Death Watch - 17 hours and 30 minutes remaining Artic Fox - 17 hours remaining ( silence let's see some activity from you please) Bloodstained Reapers - 18 hours and 20 minutes remaining The Black Hand - 18 hours and 20 minutes remaining ------ As far as I am aware that is accurate. Not the best system I know, but we'll have to stick with it for the time being and I'll probably not be reusing it in future community events (provided there's an underhive left by the end of this).

Glad to hear it! I've learned a lot from this event.. didn't go quite as planned and I think we'll all be glad to have the game return to business as usual. Nonetheless... the clock is still ticking gentlemen...
