Hangovers? Naaa, we'll all still be drunk in the morning and be arresting parking meters for loitering.

Written and posted entirely from my phone at work I just thought of something; there's obviously protective clothes that vampires wear to allow them to walk around during the day but I bet you that its restrictive to their field of view. As this would be detrimental to a police officer's job I'm going to go ahead and assume that part of a vamp officer's standard equipment is...I dunno...some sort of environmental body suit? Maybe some sort of protective helmet that doesn't restrict field of vision? If halo doesnt mind I'm sure you could just come up with your own explanation, coolyo.

I was thinking something like the EVA helmet from Halo plus a skintight jumpsuit that would ciover any exposed skin

That works I think...although it would probably be dark tinted in order to reduce any glare that might come off it.
In 40k they call those kind of suits "synskin" probably made out of some material that breathes but also rejects UV light.
In other words you might go around looking like an all black version of daftpunk...that is again if halo thinks its a good idea.

The mental image of being a Grimdark Daft Punk makes me regret not being a vamp. now i need to get my head around what i need to do for my first day stuff.

Kind of, my major idea was that vampires were dressedkind of like the Quarians. No restriction to vision, darker tinted visors, and an entire body covered in clothing.
