Username: Warork
Character Name: Titus Nolus
Age: Late Thirties
Career: Judge of the Adeptus Arbites
Appearance:
"The badge is no shield from the Emperor's Justice. This is the lesson you seem to have forgotten, Marshal. This is the lesson I am here to teach you. Crime: Heresy of the first degree. Sentence: Termination."
Personality: Cunning, discerning, attentive, and quietly charismatic. He is devoted to justice and Imperial Law for the most part but his experiences on the wrong side of the law has also left him somewhat cynical.
Equipment: Arbites carapace armor, Arbites combat shotgun, Bolt pistol, Power Maul, assorted grenades, Vox and Arbitrator gear, Cyber mastiff.
Background: Titus was a young arbitrator on the world of Scintilla and grew up in the raunchy sector of Gunmetal City. The city's weapon bearing populace was always a headstrong lot and the local Arbites precinct were always in need of young and idealistic recruits like Titus. The arbitrator-to-be did well in his initial service, towing a very fine line of performance for himself, his fellows in arms, and the populace he watched over. Years passed and eventually Titus became well liked amongst his peers and was seen as a rising leader within the precinct. All would not remain well, as almost immediately after he was raised to the rank of Judge, he became aware of a darkness of corruption within the arbites of his homeworld. Unfortunately for him his knowledge of this graft was found out by his direct superior, one Marshal Barbosa who promptly had him framed for a crime he did not commit. Titus was quickly sentenced to a life on a penal colony but would not be there for long. He was able to escape and then make his way to the world of Malfi where he offered his services to the guild of the Malfi Bloodsworn. After several years and even more contracts, he eventually made enough Thrones to make his way back to Scintilla and then went about gathering evidence to orchestrate the downfall of his former superior.
Titus ended up carrying out the sentence on the Marshal himself. After years of exile and months of planning, the fallen Marshal lay at his feet. It was then that Inquisitor Severine made herself known. It turned out she had also been investigating the heretical corruption of Scintilla's Arbites and had been watching Titus as he worked to bring about his downfall. She was impressed by his story, his devotion to justice, and personal tenacity. For aiding his efforts to bring down the corrupt Marshal from the shadows, Titus agreed to join the inquisitor's retinue and has been serving as one of her most stalwart agents ever since.
Other: Titus' left eye is actually an expensive augmetic replacement for the one he lost in his time in service to the Malfian Bloodsworn. It has the ability to see in different spectrums though he keeps it hidden with an eyepatch in order to hide its abilities from others.
