"do as you must, Brother Malavik." Victora replied in binary, and i will do what i must."
She made the sign of the Cog, then picked uo her ace from where she had leaned it nearby, with a thought impulse she activated her voc implant, keyed it to the ships com and used that to piggy bacj her signal to the crew quarters where her companions and were bunked.
"Skitarii, attend me, i have need of you. Meet me at these co-ordinates and remain on the loom out for Lexmechanic Juro while enroute. Out"
Sh hesitated on the threshold of the engineroom, then making a desision, she keyed the Inquistors vox unit, the situation having changed enough that she could no longer abide by Severine's edict of solitude.
"Inquisitor, Victora. Possible major threat to Ship security has been identified. Admech elements possibly Rouge or heretical in nature are providing false reports and failing to perform due diligence to the omnissiah, possibly linked to murders of crew. I am investigating but now cannot be certain of the loyalty of any of my Brothers at this time. recommend you take steps toward your own safety and that of your cargo. Will keep you Updated. Victora out."
With the message sent, she unfastened the holster containing her bolt pistol and stalked out back into the ships corridors, her first destination the terminal were the leximechanic had lured her away.

Player Event: Lord HarrabAs Enginseer Victora vacated the gargantuan engine room - the very beating heart of the Redemptive Consul - the doors sealed behind with an audible thunk as Enginseer Malavik had promised. Nothing short of explosives could breach it now. She voxed the Inquisitor her message and waited for a response as she hurried down the winding corridors to where she had encountered the Lexmechanic earlier. Unfortunately, there were no traces of him here. "Victora, I am most displeased to have been disturbed," came the Inquisitor's voice in response, the disdain blatant in her tone. "Are you truly unable to handle this situation yourselves, with the entire resources of this vessel?" Severine asked sternly.

"I was simply keeping you informed Inqusitor," Victora replied calmly, now examining the terminal she had been at when the leximechanic had approached her earlier, "I thought it prudent, given the security around your cargo and the captain's recent message. Of course if you'd rather have been kept in the dark of events until heretics detonated the warp core, Collapsed the Gellar field, or expelled all oxygen from the ship, i shall add such preferences to my memory cores to remind me for the next occurrence."

Player Event: Lord Harrab"Watch your tone, Enginseer," the Inquisitor replied, her usual calm replaced with an almost imperceptible undertone of stress - though Victora noted the subtle changes in her speech. "You know not the importance of my deliberations. Regardless, if there is a substantial heresy festering within this vessel, then I will make my presence known. I had hoped my acolytes would keep things in order during the return journey. As for the cargo... if the subject of these heresies you speak of is capable of defeating a platoon of the finest Stormtroopers and a squad of Adeptus Astartes, then we are all in a considerable amount of peril. I shall go to the bridge and convene with the command staff to coordinate this purge. Severine out."

Victora paused as the Inqusitor signed off, and compared the message to one stored from an earlier combat encounter. The more recent message had higher stress-tone levels.
"interesting." She said to herself in binary, then returned her attention to the terminal, seeking out any signs it had been trapped or tampered with before she accessed it.
She had been here when the Leximechanic had lured her away, so logically, what he wanted was here or nearby, no need to even speak to her otherwise.
the Tech priestess stepped back from the console and imposing a layout of the ship over her realtime feed from her ocular implant, she examined nearby systems, conduits and ship systems, seeking what a saboteur or heretic would want to damage or shutdown.
"what are you after?" she thought to herself

Player Event: Lord Harrab Warork coolyo294 Dewin Nepty AegisFateThe large, ornate doors to the ancient bridge atop the equally ancient ship swung open, revealing the familiar figure of the Inquisitor. She wore her more casual gear - rather typical witch hunter garb designed to fit the very image from all the stories the masses of the Imperium told children at night about the secret seekers of heresy and witchcraft. Her tall, darkly-coloured hat was inlaid with runic warding sigils and proudly bore a stylised red I with a golden trim surrounding it. Her lower body was protected by carapace armour - her alternative to the irreplaceable set of Terminator armour she wore in the direst of battles - and at her side her ornate inferno pistol was holstered. Across her back, a blessed power stake was sheathed. Inquisitor Castella Severine stepped onto the bridge, receiving a curt salute from captain Hera and commander Thaddeus. "Captain, I will personally be overseeing this investigation now. Have a vox missive dispatched summoning my acolytes to the bridge immediately, I wish to be fully briefed," she ordered. Immediately she was obeyed, with captain Hera sharply commanding a subordinate to relay the message. "All Inquisitorial acolytes are summoned to the bridge at the behest of Inquisitor Severine, repeat, all Inquisitorial acolytes are summoned to the bridge. CIC out," the announcement echoed throughout the halls and corridors of the ship.

Garis was the first acolyte to arrive at the bridge after the summon was sent. Clad head to toe in a plain grey trench coat and thick engineer's carapace, he looked oddly rank and file amongst the Inquisitor and her regal bridge officers. Many assumed, and correctly so, that he would be more at home slugging it out against the enemy in a muddy foxhole. His shotgun was still slung over his shoulder as he presented himself to Inquisitor Severine with a salute sharp enough to slice adamantium.
"Trooper Garis reporting, ma'am. I did not find anything on my sweep." he said. He dropped the salute and bowed his head. "Profuse apologies for not being able to contain the situation. I will accept whatever punishment you deem necessary."

"Very good Mister Garris, your apology is noted," Severine answered. Next, she turned to address their resident sanctioned psyker, Nicholas, in a way one might regard a useful appliance when it momentarily became of use. "Nicholas, speak. Have your abilities garnered any useful information?" She inquired.

Kril hurriedly marched to the bridge and took his position next to the Guardsman without a word save for the quiet whirling sounds from his cybernetics. With his armour still burned and battered down from previous battle on the inquisitors behalf, the skitarii in his dark red wargear looked even more inhuman than usual in the bridge's lighting.
"Tribune Kril, present" He said in halting toneless voice while focusing his yellow optic-cluster on the inquisitor.

"I so far have gleamed nothing except a vision I had whilst I was sleeping, which, from what the Captain says might be from a Gellar Field malfunction. All I can say is fire and blood is a very real possibility, and whatever we are carrying is of great importance to these individuals," he curtly responded. He couldn't feel the same tide of emotions from the Inquisitor, and her tone towards him was less than satisfactory.
