As will I. Ever since I want to RP as a necromancer... Might as well make a necromancer character.
Ever since I've been writing lore for so long I have a character I was planning on using for my other RP. But it seems he fits more into this world than the other one. He seemed like a good character so I will post him when he is done.

Character Name: Elros the Wanderer Race: Elf Gender: Male Life Goal: Survival, and the denial of evil in all forms. Quirks: Writes in his own runic alphabet Appearance: Bio: Elros was born to a family of relatively wealthy merchants in the town of Starspear, and was well educated as a young child, learning to read and write from a retired Inquisitor whom his father had befriended many years before. From him, Elros learnt about magic, and was enthralled by it, but never displayed any signs of promise in the magical arts, much to the satisfaction of his father who needed an heir for his mercantile business. This was, until the cataclysm. It was early evening in late autumn, and the sun was almost set when a strange man, huddled beneath a black cloak, entered the town and walked to the square, where he propped himself against a wall and pulled a book from beneath his cloak. Elros saw this, for he too was in the square, studying history and relics from an ancient tome Inquisitor Hall had leant him. The man began to read from his book and, immediately, Elros knew something was wrong. His eyes, aglow with green light, stared down towards the book as his cracked, old lips moved, faster and faster as he read. Suddenly, the ground below him began to glow with the same light that emanated from his eyes, cracking and shaking until the ground around the man began to fall away into some unseen abyss that had opened below the square, a powerful wind blowing up from within the cracks. Elros wanted to look away, but he couldn’t, his eyes were locked on the man. Inquisitor Hall appeared on the far side of the square, blades drawn, but even he couldn’t get close to the man. Even when he tried, he was forced back by the great wind that blew from the abyss that had opened. The man’s chanting grew louder and louder as the winds grew and cracks opened still further until, at the height of his chant, it happened.
The wizard unleased a great roar and the sky opened, fire and rocks raining down on the town. Utter devastation ensued. Within minutes, the town was ablaze. People ran about, screaming, not knowing what to do, but Elros stood still, staring at the man who, by now, was walking about the town, flanked by two creatures Elros recognised as Flame Spirits, creatures summoned from the demon planes by powerful magi to serve their evil will. The wizard didn’t seem to notice Elros, he didn’t seem to notice anyone. Elros saw this, however, and reached to the floor where a burning pole lay. He seized the pole and raised it like a javelin, pointing it towards the wizard who was now walking away from him, down the devastated main street of Starspear. He flung the pole hard, harder than he had ever thrown anything in his life, harder even than he thought it possible to throw. The wizard sensed it and turned around, but he was a fraction of a second too late.
The makeshift spear lanced through the wizards chest, the wizard went to say something, but no words came out. He raised his hand, pointing at Elros as he fell, but nothing happened. His body slumped to the ground with a thud, and Elros began to approach him as his Flame Spirits evaporated back to whatever infernal place they had come from, little did he know the worst was yet to come.
Seeing the wizard fall, the townspeople began to gather round as Elros knelt over the body, and lifted the cloak away from the dead man’s body, what he saw appalled him. He stared into the void beneath the cloak, and held back the urge to vomit. To this day, Elros hasn’t told anyone what happened next, but the next day, when a patrol of Inquisitors arrived, having seen the magical storm the night before, they found Elros crouched in the centre of a crater, the only remnant of Starspear within a cauldron of resonating magical energies. His family had been merchants for many generations, none of them ever showing any signs of magic, but on that night, his gift had emerged. He still cannot decide whether he is glad of this or not, for it left him, aged but 16 years, alone in the world, wandering the wilderness infused with wild magic. He abandoned his old name, for it reminded him too much of what he had lost, and became known simply as Elros the Wanderer, a newly empowered mage without a cause.
He arrived, weeks later, at the steps of the Silver Halls, with only the cloak he wore, the book he had been carrying which had also, inexplicable, survived the cataclysm, and a burning hatred of all things evil. Since then, he has sworn himself to the denial of evil, turning his magical talents to the protection of those who he felt deserved better.

Character name: Hador Halios Race: Human Gender: Male Life Goal: To learn the mysteries of life and become a great mage and cure his disease Quirks: Often is studying books and learning as much as he can. Not as reserved, He is a gifted student and seen as some sort of natural born mage . Appearance: Something close to how I picture him....Minus the fact that he looks evil. He wears red robes and carried a staff made of the magical trees he had spent his time with. His face is pale, and his eyes glow green. He carries with him various vials and potions. He is considered to be handsome. His body is heavily scarred, and he usually wears clothing that covers his entire body. Bio: Hador Halios was born in a small village in the empire. Where many would believe him to be ill-fated, his bones being brittle and easy to break. He was often made fun of as a child. His abilities were many and his intelligence was extremely high. He grew up in inhospitable village which always seemed to be ransacked by creatures of the night. Unfortunately during an attack by unknown creatures, the creatures diseased move bit into his leg as a child. He became infected with a disease that no medicinal herbs could cure. His eyes would burn with a green light, and deep within him a magic resonance was set off. He became a beacon of magical energies. Drawing in creatures of night even further. He was chased from his village and ran into the woods. He was still a child at the time and being chased out by those he loved ran deep into his bones. He lived in the dark forests constantly moving around and developing his skills in survival. He came upon many travelers and often times he traded with them, sometimes he traded with them herbs and medicinal for food and clothing. He learned to survive on his own, and learned how to evade his hunters: both his own people and the creatures of the night. He discovered many herbs and plants that could thwart the creatures from finding him. His wit and his intelligence often conquering his opponents from ever finding him. He learned to control his resonance and the beacon that lay inside of him. He became more sickly, and his strength began to wane. Then one day a Mage came to him, finding him in the forest. The Mage asked what was wrong with him, Hador responded he had to live on his own, and that creatures hunted him. The Mage took Hador to the city and was able to find a potion that could subdue the disease within him. The Mage adopted him as her own son and taught him many ways to subdue his magical powers. She gave him a purpose to live and a new home. He increasingly began to call her mother. She then saw that the only way to ensure his survival he had to become a Magi. She sent him off to the trials. He walked to the gates of the Silver Halls, and passed the Rites of Sacrifice with ease. And began to study the mighty magics. But slowly he became addicted to the magics he held. And more and more he wished to study magics that would amplify his already great powers within.

Character name: Karlack Race: Human Gender: Female Life Goal: To travel the world outside the Great Swamp Quirks: Karlack has an affinity for toads. She keeps a small swamp toad named Trev as a pet and lets it ride around on her shoulder Appearance: Karlack: Trev: Bio: Karlack hails from a semi-autonomous region of the New Empire known as the Great Swamp. As its name implies, the Great Swamp is a massive wetland that spans nearly a thousand square kilometers. It is a mystery to most outsiders, and only the strange tribals that inhabit it truly understand the swamp. These tribals also revere death, not viewing it as something to be feared but to embraced. Consequently, necromancers (in the language of the Great Swamp they are known as "bravyalls", which roughly translates to bone-singer) are held in high regard within their society. Most bravyalls are taught by apprenticeship, never leaving the Great Swamp, but a few venture out to the Silver Halls to receive their tutelage. Karlack is one of them. When she was 12, an expedition from a prominent University passed through her village intent on mapping the swamp. Amongst the expedition was an elven healer who helped Karlack recover from a burning fever. While the elf ministered to Karlack's sickness, she told the child all about the Silver Halls and the outside world. Soon the expedition left and was never heard from again, but the seed of curiosity had been planted in Karlack's head. On her seventeenth birthday, she discovered she had magical potential. While her family wanted her to stay in the village and be trained in the traditional fashion, she decided to seek out the Silver Halls.
