Well, i have things sorted here on my end so i'm announcing my intent to launch this later today, I'll not be accepting any more players beyond those who have already submitted characters or expressed interest.
I will also like to inform those still working on characters that there is no rush to get a sheet posted, you can always be slotted into the game later when you're happy with your character.
So gather some parchment and be ready for lessons, Its Back to School time!

Name: Gawain Vider Race: Human Gender: Male Life Goal: To not die in a magic related incident. Quirks: Rather short for a human, doesn't like the fact that he can practice magic and thinks that it's stupid to be too enthusiastic about it. Gawain came from a family with simple roots; his father was a farmer and his mother was a druid. The two worked together on a large farm that managed to produce enough grains and fruits for their village to eat and sell for a comfy living. It was no surprise when they found out that Gawain had the potential to be a mage of sorts and both had hoped that he would settle in for training at Silver Hall and become a master druid who would somehow end the hunger of the realm through massive cultivation. His father showed him how to plow and plant seeds while his mother tried to win him over by showing him how through careful guidance and practice gourds could grow larger, weeds could be banished, and crops could flourish. He saw how happy they had made the villagers through their hard work and remained ignorant of any danger in the use of magic. One year there was a massive blizzard that snowed out the entire region, local granaries ran out of supply, livestock perished, and some even turned to eating the dead just to preserve their own lives. His parents being ever willing to help others worked their hands to the bones to provide enough for their own village. Days of cold were followed with nights of sores and pain for the entire Vider family. For a month everyone did the best they could to keep their happy little village of Trentdale alive until the snow melted away. Near the end of the winter Gawain was working out in the field with his parents when he saw a foot sticking out near the apple trees. His own curiosity carried him to the small copse of renewed trees and found his mother passed out against the trunk of one of them. He quickly called for his father and they carried her indoors to her bed for rest, thinking that it would cure what ailed her. The next morning she woke them with a coughing fit they had never heard the likes of before. She sat in bed, coughing up something incredibly sticky with the consistency of sap. Half of her face's skin had hardened and her breathing began to fail. She muttered a curse under her breath as her husband apologized for pushing her too hard. She assured him that it was her choice, that they did it for the village, and that she did it out of love before finally taking her last breath. Years later his father remarried to a normal human and decided that it would be best for Gawain to leave for Silver Hall. Gawain protested the best he could, believing that his father just wanted to get rid of him in order to live a new life free of anything that reminded him of his wife. Gawain's father rebutted each argument and ultimately won by telling him that he didn't want to see his own son perish like his first wife had. Gawain accepted the proposal and was sent to Silver Hall to learn how to keep himself safe, devoting himself to never perishing in such a cruel manner that other students had.

After debating with myself about character ideas I cam up with something a little different.
Character name: Domenico Livuat (Liu-wat) Race: Human Gender: Male Life Goal: Take over the family business as a wardsmith Quirks: Tends to approach life with a calm and collected mental state but layers his intentions over each other and few know where his loyalties truly lie past his own family Appearance: Curly black hair and a somewhat rotund appearance. Nevertheless he is extremely intelligent, dresses well and has piercing green eyes. Not physically strong but possessing an undeniable air of affability that makes people warm to his presence Bio: The Livuat family holds the distinction of being the oldest family to practice wardsmithing and the tradition has passed from father to son for over a thousand years.
