The Lands of Hrokheim
The Old Gods forged this world. The Old Gods created it’s people. The Old Gods can destroy it all.
Hrokheim is cold and barren, it’s continents divided by vast seas dotted with small islands. It’s people are a hardened folk, toughened by the way the Old Gods created the lands and the seas. The weak cannot survive. There is only a place in this world for the strong and the brave.
Feuding nobles and warlords fight each other over power, wealth and lands. They lead their warriors through hard won respect, loyalty or fear. The world is divided in hundreds of small kingdoms, most of them in open conflict. the people are subjects to tyrants, warlords, kings.
There are still bulwarks of freedom, people who fight for their survival and their society. These people often have to turn to dangerous but profitable actions. They raid, pillage, destroy what other kingdoms or societies have built up. These people are called the Vikinger.
Lords and nobles all have that great hunger for power, but they often tend to forget the hellish creatures the Old Gods have set upon this world.

Hello Darkstormers. I have decided to try my hand at GM'ing again. I have come up with a loose idea for a RP, set in fantasy Dark Ages and heavily based around vikings (Not the series).
I have come up with this short text to wet your appetites. I'm going to work on this for some time until it's finished. Expect more info about the world, it's people, the Old Gods and so on. I have posted this here so early to get noticed early on. This will probably start after all other current or planned RP's are done. (And if you really can't wait, ask me and we can start this right after I'm done with the info.)
You will play as a Vikinger, a free warrior part of a free society. More info on character creation will be posted at a later date.
