Please select two options in the poll.
After Shadow War, I will be running up to two of these simultaneously. Let me outline the ideas here:
1) A fantasy/crime hybrid. The players will play as fantasy archetypes (e.g. warrior, mage, archer, thief) who form what would be considered a modern-day heist crew. It's an interesting blend of genres, and would run in a chapter format with each chapter being a new 'job'. You'd also be able to choose to hire temporary NPC crew members to help with each particular heist, but choose wisely... the more skilled they are, the bigger cut they'll want, whereas the cheaper ones may not be so reliable. (smaller game of maybe 4-6 players max, focus on teamwork, open-ended game)
2) A supernatural game. I like to hope this will be something of a spiritual successor to the classic Blood Moon trilogy, if I may be so bold as to even say that. It would run on a loose version of the 40k stat system, with hunters being the weakest but most well-organised faction, while vampires and werewolves try to fulfill their ambitions and desires while also fighting a secret war with each other. It will be set in one large, fictional city that will be something of a sandbox for you all to run around in doing as you please... a very player-driven game, you would be free to literally unleash all hell if you so desired, and are prepared to face the consequences of your actions. (open-world, player-driven narrative, epic)
3) A sci-fi nations. A cataclysmic event destroyed the galaxy, and the final remnants of humanity have fled in colony ships. After centuries, they have reached a new star cluster. However, the colony ships have not had contact with each other for a very long time and very little remains of their original cultures. Will they even be able to cooperate with each other as they struggle to establish themselves in a totally alien and possibly hostile new environment? Resources are scarce... and your survival is on the line.
This game will allow all sorts of crazy technologies to be researched, with focus on it being a fairly simple, relaxed but fun game. Each turn would most likely be 6 months. (easy, light science fiction, slow-paced)
So vote for the two you'd most like to see, and it shall be done.
