On other hand, are there even any germanic/slav tribes around that are close enough to be somewhat relevant and not so weak that slight breeze could wipe them out at this point? I don't really know what is supposed to be going on at this point.

I don't really know what is supposed to be going on at this point. The file I attached to the OP lists them. There are plenty of Germanic and Celtic tribes; the Cherusci, Teutones and Suebi are the largest Germanic tribes and the Arverni, Boii and Belgae Confederation are some of the larger Celtic ones. As for slavs there're the Scythian tribes and the Scythian Kingdom, Hun-esque steppe nomads with a fetish for horse archery.

I'll join in as something in Briton, although my knowledge of the period is slightly better than my knowledge of dentistry.

Well, we aren't for want of variety.
Getting a bit spread out though.

geacron.com/home-en/?&sid=GeaCron699941if its not already set to it, type -230 for the year as thats when this game takes place. wonderful site, while there are no boundaries for tribes,it still gives their location to a degree, and if you click the name will take you to a wiki link of info on them. hope this helps those in need of some help with this era!
