This is me when ever I hear someone is trying to have a political debate. I'm getting too cranky as I get older. Most of my issues and irritations in life seem solvable using a bullet to the head. Yes lots of people died, yes its tragic and needless and quite rightly these terrorists need to be dealt with. But sadly we live in a corrupt world where everything we try to do just kicks us in the face. We do nothing, the wrong people get in power. We do something, we get accused of meddling and "asking for it". We interfere in putting new leaders in power, we get splinter groups forming. A lot of the issues in that entire area and led to this dreadful day are unfortunately the byproduct of the US and UK trying to do something to sort out the issue and not only end up making things worse but also end up kicking us in the teeth when we arm people to defend themselves only to have splinter groups form like Al-queda who then use those weapons against us to undo whatever it is we originally tried to do. In a perfect world I'd teleport every civilian out of there and nuke the whole fucking continent. Alas, it is not a perfect world. And now you know why I don't like to discuss politics. I'm just a bitter and angry middle aged man.

Mosul and Mecca. Then we get a Spitfire going and direct it at the Vatican.

Woah there Satan.
The current pope's a pretty cool guy
Don't get me wrong. I don't like violent religion. I've personally seen a guy beheaded by his brother for an islamic retribution killing.
But that doesn't necessarily mean that wholesale genocide is the answer. Fighting ISIS and crucifying their fighters might work, but not random massacres.

Alright, enough of that.
Lets establish what this thread is and isn't
It IS a thread to recognize and acknowledge a black day in American and World history and Marvel's pretty awesome tribute to it.
To that effect I've heard the "Dr. Doom is out of character in this" argument and to be honest...its debateable.
This thread IS NOT a place to speculate on mass murder based on perceived grievances due to religion or otherwise like an asshole. Lets not degrade ourselves by talking about destroying a part of the world that's less stable than ours. This forum is better than that.

I agree with Wark, it's tasteless, crass, inappropriate, and damn well disrespectful.
And coming from me that's pretty bad.
