Daleks fighting Imperial star destroyers? Star Wars versus Star Trek? Some unknown menace from beyond the stars? All this and more in Rifts!
Rifts is a simple game where you take command of a force from existing Sci-Fi (or your imagination) and introduce it to several others in a poor unsuspecting star system. It essentially boils down to toyhammer but bigger for those acclimated to the classic.
More info to come if people are interested.

The problem with a game that brings so many potential universes into conflict is that people have very different ideas of how power 'scales' in each one, which can lead to players getting frustrated if they feel their faction is underpowered for example. Just something to keep in mind when you GM this... maybe put some restrictions in for balancing purposes.

Ill cook up restrictions based on what people want to play with. (example: 40k faction like the Imperium of man will have different force numbers than say the Covenant from halo)

Perhaps it would be wise to define the game more clearly? The focus seems to be on PvP, so maybe straight up decide which factions are being brought into play in this crossover, group them based on likeness and have players join a 'team' to give clearer objectives for the players? You could have two main forces (e.g. say you had Star Wars and 40k going against each other) and perhaps a third 'chaos element' ran by one player or just to act as the hand of god (the GM) in the RP. Just some ideas.

I suppose that would add a little order to the madness. I could brainstorm something up, There are a lot of 40k fans floating around so warhammer crossing around is a good start, I am up for Ideas for a team 2 though.

Yeah I would agree, major thing would be the scale of power.

Hence why force sizing involved is important.

Would people be more interested if I put together several forces on my own and posted them allowing prospective players to choose one from several pre-made sources.

This is an interesting concept, and I'm down for it, but as stated, we'd need some hard and fast rules and a decent organization chart.
