It is year 2320 on distant planet M-2432 or as it's commonly called, Mercy. It has been ten years since your great colony ships arrived here, fleeing Sol from embers of the great unification war that had been scorching the system for decade already.
Now during your years here your people have tried to rebuilt their homes among alien arctic jungle and it's hostile fauna ever aware that their lives are under blanked of United Solar Fedaration and their orbital arsenal floating above.
However now that various colonies including yours have grown in strength and size and, USF has grown stagnant, tied by it's overextension and politics. Now with your greatest threat slumbering, it is your duty as leader of your people to lead your nation into the future and take your place among the world before it devours you.
Planet Mercy:

Planet M-2432 is fourth planet of it's system. Shielded by it's three moons and atmosphere Mercy has become relatively habitable planet for human life after being subjected to light terraforming before your arrival. Despite this, staying outside for long time without re-breather and protective clothing is ill advised outside of cleared zones as both plants and soil contain toxic matter in lethal levels.
Due to planet's distance towards it's home star, Mercy tends to have very frigid temperatures even during short summers it has. Despite it's frigid condition, local flora has adopted to planet's rotation, creating strange sights such as snow covered jungles lasting far into the horizon right next to tundra plains..
Despite all of this, Mercy is very rich in minerals and is relatively free of any major hostile fauna. While there are roaming packs of wild beasts and occasional megafauna predator, these beasts generally avoid human contact unless provoked or driven into corner.
