For Vampires can they be fully covered (no skin showing) and be able to go out in Sun light?

let's go with wolfman and not an actual wolf Awww...you're breakin my heart, halo... I can see where you're coming from, however, I have to say that I'm not a fan of the wolfman style. The old and new versions always came off to me as someone wearing a modified Chewbacca costume, never found the form very intimidating. I favor the more contemporary portrayal of lycans myself (The Twilight series excluded, obviously.) But I guess that comes down to nitpicking the end. I'm more concerned about the physical abilities of these metas over the normals. The obvious traits are enhanced senses, strength, and durability, though I'm sure you've planned to include those tenets into the lore in some form.

I just might get involved in this. I'll need to give it a thorough re-read.

No characters for now, once I get a copy of Rogue Trader to look at and get a trait system put in place.
@wark, Strength of the werewolf has been noted as being far superior to that of a human. It's going to be mostly like a traditional werewolf and vampire so the basic and common similarities in just about any movie, game, etc.
@judge, as long as their skin doesn't make direct contact with the sun or can't make direct contact with the sun then clothing is okay. That's why vampires wear helmets with visors like the Quarians, its just that much easier.

But then someone accidentally grabs the wrap around the face and BAM! Fricasseed vampire. But it seems I might have misspoke when I said wolfman like werewolves. I meant these. And not these. For that I apologize. However on a serious note I need to find a copy of Rogue Trader, or at least an online resource for character creation using those same basic concepts because one of the reasons why I don't want character sheets is because background will help choose certain stats to increase over others. For example being born into a wealthy family will get you like +5 charisma for knowing how to talk fancy to people while being poor will get you like +5 Toughness for growing up in a tougher environment. And I want a yay or nay on this idea because Coolyo brought it up and it has been pestering me for some time. Vampire kids. I'm thinking that it could be possible for vampires to have offspring through other means, for example a mommy vampire and a daddy vampire(or any combination of either or) love each other very much and pay a lab run by vampires to collect DNA samples from them in order to make a test tube vampire baby. So yeah, I already established that test tube kids are a possibility. Just wondering how you guys would feel about test tube vampire babies... maybe kids, maybe growing them like the clones in Star Wars. Don't know, just throwing it out there.

I suppose if vampires are some form of life rather than the standard 'dead' it could work naturally too. Maybe some form of virus or parasite that reduces the heart beat or something?
And I like the look of that wolf looks a lot more dangerous than the one below, and I imagine there's a difference in strength between a Lycan in human and wolf form?

The Rogue Trader rules are good fun, I can help out with the rules side of things due to having a fairly good knowledge of them if you would like me to.

I really need to read the rules concerning homeworld and other background choices that affect stat lines. I don't care about anything that adds knowledge: x group/language. Draxy, will have to consider how I feel about a virus or mirobe being responsible for vampirism, but you are correct in the whole lycan strength thing.
