The door swung open and through it stepped a tall woman. Golden, curled hair reached down to her shoulders. Ruby lips smiled while azure eyes scanned the room like a hawk. She wore a blatantly expensive, stylish yet functional and appropriate business dress. She wore heels which increased her height exponentially, and she towered over many of the other people in the room, save perhaps the tallest.
"This is the briefing room for the new recruits, right?" She asked innocently, knowing full well that it was. The door closed behind her as she entered the room further. "My name is Victoria Summers," she announced.
Three ghost-white faces. A trio of vampires. They weren't hard to spot. The rest were either humans or wolves, not that it mattered much. Those two species had something in common that the vampires did not. They were alive.
Vampires usually they had centuries of wisdom and knowledge. For that reason, she considered them the most dangerous of all. In this day and age, intelligence could get you anything - if you played your cards right.
Wolves on the other hand intrigued her. There was something primal, bestial and uncontrollable in the heart of mankind, and those afflicted by lycanthropy manifested it. Fascinating.

Morgan listened to conversation between the werewolf and the vampire, it amused her. It was funny to hear that the wolf was getting annoyed because of the vampire. Just at the moment she wanted to react at what the vampire said, something about people knowing here the past of most recruits, swung the door open and stepped a tall women inside the room.
Morgan scanned the women. What's that women up to? showing off that she's rich or something? Morgan got annoyed by that tall women with her high heels and her red lipstick and expensive clothes. "Yes this is indeed the room for new recruits, but are you sure you are at the right place, because this is no fashion school." Morgan answered sounding a bit indifferent.

Victoria regarded the shorter woman who had addressed her disinterestedly, her eyes looking her up and down with what could have been the briefest flash of contempt.
She smiled at the woman, revealing a set of perfect white teeth. "You are quite right, of course," she replied, "how very fortunate for you darling," she observed, raising an eyebrow at Morgan's drab attire. The rosy smile didn't waver.
Circling the group confidently, stalking around as though she was inspecting them, she continued speaking.
"I am looking forward to working with all of you," Veronica declared enthusiastically, regardless of the fact no one had asked. "It will certainly be an... enlightening experience," she said as she finished her circuit of the group, taking a very central seat and folding one leg over the other.
She blinked and as if absent-mindedly began leisurely looking through a folder she had brought with her. She stole glances at each of the individuals around the room as she did so, well aware of the attention she was provoking. She was curious as to how they would react. She could almost feel them watching her.

"And I'm sure we're all looking forward to working with you too, love" April replied, with a Cheshire smile. "we all want to see the shit beaten out of you, for the start" she added under her breath. What a pretentious snob, how or why that woman had gotten here was beyond her. She certainly didn't look like she could handle the job. Probably get her throat torn out by a Lycan on the first day, she smiled at the thought. Though that was assuming she made it that far, she'd probably wash out today with a broken nail or something. And what was that smell? Perfume? Was that supposed to cause attraction in humans? She couldn't remember much about that stuff other than the scent had been strong even as human and she had rarely used it herself.
The woman was examining them now as if they all weren't worthy of her presence. April stood firm as she felt Vic's eyes drift over her, she shouldn't let her move her, even if inside the wolf growled and snapped its thoughts full of anger. They'd be trouble if it seemed they all couldn't get along, logic suggested. Still though it would be awfully fun to see what her insides look like.

A short, messy dark hair spoke back to her. Victoria smiled back, but stared daggers at the woman. "Do speak up darling, we are trainee MRPD officers, it is unbecoming of us to mutter incomprehensibly like downtrodden children, and I'm sure we would all benefit from hearing what we each have to say," she said softly, keeping her tone noticeably friendly. She didn't know what the woman had muttered but she could take a guess. One of her strong traits was her keen senses, and she made it her business to always be aware of her surroundings.

Matt had spent all his time thus far leaning against one wall. Lone wolfing though, as it were, never got you far. He'd tried it in high school It had sucked.
He looked for the nearest conversation. A wolf and a vampire arguing, hah. Get in between those two and he'd probably end up frappe'd. Instead he found a dark haired lycan and what looked like a regular woman with blond hair talking. He was rather proud of the fact that he was able to manage racial profiling this quick in his career.
He approached, suddenly aware that they were staring daggers at one another. Shit. It was either continue on or back off and look like an idiot.
"So, training course, right? Anyone have any idea about the tests?" God damn this felt like college all over again.

"Indeed happily this isn't the fashion school, I would rather die than looking like you..." Morgan muttered angrily. She already started to hate that woman, what an idiot that Victoria is. Looking down on everybody else.
Morgan snickered at the comment made by the Asian women who also didn't seem to like that tall one. Then Morgan looked at the blonde again and stepped closer to her, "Let me make one thing clear, you're not better, more special or whatever than any of us, rich or poor means nothing here, we're all equel. And if you say something bad or show off too much with your nice clothes, you'll get problems with me. I ain't afraid of anyone, and the neighborhood I'm from we kill people who show off with their money too much." After said all this to Victoria, Morgan walked towards a chair and sat down, and lighted a new cigarette.

Matt looked over his shoudler with a scowl on his face towards the outspoken woman. "Hey asshole, we're supposed to be coworkers, not rivals. Or cop killers for that matter" He walked over to her and pinched out the end of the cigarette. "I'm pretty sure smoking isn't allowed in here either." He gestured up at the fire system in the ceiling. "Have you ever been in a precinct before?

"So, training course, right? Anyone have any idea about the tests?"
"I expect that they shall rigorously gauge our physical and mental aptitude," Victoria replied matter of factly to the man asking about the tests.
"Indeed happily this isn't the fashion school, I would rather die than looking like you..." The tacky-looking woman muttered. Victoria had to suppress a laugh - she wondered if the woman had ever taken a good look at herself.
Next, the same woman approached her, moving her face very close. "Let me make one thing clear, you're not better, more special or whatever than any of us, rich or poor means nothing here, we're all equal. And if you say something bad or show off too much with your nice clothes, you'll get problems with me. I ain't afraid of anyone, and the neighbourhood I'm from we kill people who show off with their money too much."
"Jealousy doesn't suit you dear," Victoria chimed. She was amazed at the hostility of this woman - how could she possibly expect to become an MRPD officer if a simple comment on her clothes caused her to lose her temper so fiercely.
The woman turned around to walk off but Victoria wasn't finished. "And we're not in your ghetto neighbourhood any more sweetheart. Some of us are here to forge a professional career, and if you threaten me again, I shall have you reported and see that you never work here again." Her smile was still there but she wasn't joking. If this street urchin was really that unstable then she didn't want her anywhere near her in training or worse - in the field where it would most assuredly be life or death.
Victoria watched as the man she'd spoken to approached the woman and call her out on her insolent and childish behaviour before putting out the cigarette she had lit. This woman had absolutely no sense of etiquette or proper behaviour in such an important establishment as this, yet she acted as if Victoria herself didn't belong here. How wonderfully ironic, she thought.

She wasn't happy about that last comment of that tall women. Indeed she could lose her job very easily. This was the only job suit for her and where she was accepted. Living in a poor neighborhood wasn't easy at all. She hated it when people pointed that out.
Morgan looked at the guy, she tried not to get angry. At least he didn't act like that blonde women. Morgan sighed, "you know, I won't kill her...yet. It was just a warning." She grinned, it's not that I want to be here so badly... she wanted to say, but she decided not to. "probably it isn't allowed indeed, but you know I don't care about that." She said while she looked up at the ceiling "I was indeed lucky that the fire system didn't react and indeed I've never been in a precinct before." She admitted.
