"I have just spent the last four years studying the most challenging courses at the most prestigious university in the country. I could have any job I desire and I chose this. I have had my life threatened by some dirty miscreant from the ghettoes and then a government employee pulls that stunt?! I feel physically sick. Don't they know who I am? Who my family is? How hard I have worked to get to this point in my life?" She stressed.
The pair of them kept walking while she spoke and they fortunately found the female locker room quickly. There was no one else inside for the time being, something Victoria was grateful for. Appearance was everything - the way other people perceived her was important. If they saw weakness, it reflected poorly on herself and her family, that was a lesson which she had learned at a very young age. Her whole life her family's money and reputation had given her the very best the world had to offer, all the opportunities she could ever desire and more. They'd wanted her to become a doctor or something similarly respectable. With her talents, it would hsve been eady.
Yet here she was, outside of her world of etiquette and dinner parties. The people out here were like trained monkeys, without the training. Judging by the street urchin they had allowed to sign up for this job, it seemed anyone could get in. She had expected to be among the elite - like-minded prodigies eager to escape the dull safety of a laboratory or library and learn about the world first hand; use their talents for the betterment of mankind.. And other species.
"Mother and father were right," she lamented, a single tear indistinguishable from the rest of the water on her face. "I am bloody over-qualified for this," she realised, as she squeezed out of the soaked dress and hurried under a warm shower in one corner of the room. There were some fresh white towels on a nearby bench and she claimed one for herself. She closed her eyes as the warm water refreshed her body. She inhaled deeply, held it a moment, and then exhaled. One sick pup compensating for something with a big hose wouldn't deter the eldest daughter of the Summers family. Opening her eyes, she simply let what had just happened be washed away like the water around her.
It was time to go to work.

Mat wrung out his damp shirt, a grin still on his face. Say what you will about the man with the hose, that was funny. He had enjoyed seeing both those ladies laid out with it's blast of water. Ritch bitch and Hood rat, both of them. He heard someone mutter under their breath in the locker room "Don't stick your dick in crazy."
He found his sweatshirt and pants and put them on quickly. Matt wasn't sure about the physical, he knew both werewolves and vampires could outshine him. "Just be the best you can be" he muttered. He didn't join the force to show off anyways. He took a deep breath and repeated what his training sergeant at the police academy had bellowed at them whenever they looked out of place.
"Discomfort is just a state of mind. Ignore it."

"erm. Right." Sandra blinked at the other woman's explosion of words, as they entered the locker room, Sandra Checking for cameras with a paranoid eye, and used the time they showered and changed to formulate a reply "Playing Devil's Advocate for a moment, why didn't you take another job? Not to belittle your hard work, but, stuff like family and university doesn't matter when its 3am and your facing down with a vampire off his head on some new drug and sees you as nothing more than a meal. Its what you do then that matters." Pausing to wring out her cloth cap and place it back on her head, the rest of her now dressed in the clothing provided, it didn't fit her very well, despite her name on the door, but that's quartermasters for you. "A police Officer doesn't think of themselves as better than anyone, we're public servants, we answer to the Law and stand for the little people, look." She held up her badge, a little golden shield with its seal and her number, but Sandra pointed at the motto below that, "Protect and serve." she read, and reattached it to her belt, "That means everyone, Rich or Poor, Stupid or clever, Vampire, Lycan or Human, without prejudice or favor. I've been a Cop for years now, and that's how i get through everyday, all the drunks, the fights, the chases and everything else our job entails. Treat everyone the same and its with respect to their rights and the Law when on duty, nothing else. Right here an now, we're all equal, just cadets looking to get into a new job." She smiled at Victoria and extended her hand, "and i didn't catch your name"

Morgan sat with her back against the wall, that was too much water to keep standing. She got up, she felt really angry. She started cursing when she got up. The worst thing was that even her cigarettes got all wet. Now she can't smoke for a while. Just at the moment she wanted to make an angry comment she saw the reaction of Victoria. She couldn't be angry anymore, she grinned. "ha, the rich bitch isn't waterproof, now her dress is ruined." With a big smile on her face she walked towards the lockerroom to put some dry clothes on.

Anton pulled himself off the floor laughing as he did it, his clothes wet all the way through and his journal drenched but it didn't matter, he headed out the double doors towards the locker room singing lightly as he made his way.
"Heute wollen wir ein Liedlein singen, trinken wollen wir den kuehlen Wein und die Glaeser sollen dazu klingen, denn es muss, es muss geschieden sein.
Gib mir deine Hand, deine weisse Hand, leb wohl, mein Schatz, lebe wohl, mein Schatz, leb wohl.
Gib mir deine Hand, deine weisse Hand, leb wohl, mein Schatz, lebe wohl, mein Schatz, leb wohl. Lebe wohl, denn wir fahren, denn wir fahren, denn wir fahren gegen Engeland, Engeland!
Kommt die Kund, dass ich bin gefallen. Dass ich schlafe in der Meeresflut, weine nicht um mi..." his singing stopped as he bumped into Morgan not far from the Locker rooms.
"Glad to see that girl taken down a notch. Aber das Wasser war kalt!" Anton laughed as he patted the woman on the back.

When Morgan walked towards the locker rooms, still cursing about her cigarettes were all soaked, she heard someone singing in a language she couldn't understand, she thought it was German. She looked around and saw that vampire guy. "Glad to see that girl taken down a notch." he said. Morgan grinned, "indeed that was awesome, that guy with the water hose has a cool sense of humor." Morgan thought for a bit and then said "My name is Morgan, what's your name, vampire?" she asked.

"Anton and you don't have to remind me what I am you know. I think anybody can see I am a Vamp." Anton replied to the woman, Morgan lent back and crossed her arms watching Anton's everymove.
"Don't worry I don't bite....anymore. I shall see you on the course, Human." he grinned as he turned around and walked into the Men's locker room his looker had to be the last one at the far end of the room. He popped it open and took out his new uniform and badge.......Shiny but shit! Placing his uniform back Anton took out his training gear and began to change.
'Another shitty job for more shitty people!' He thought too himself but he also knew it was for a good cause.

"Playing Devil's Advocate for a moment, why didn't you take another job? Not to belittle your hard work, but, stuff like family and university doesn't matter when its 3am and your facing down with a vampire off his head on some new drug and sees you as nothing more than a meal. Its what you do then that matters." The other woman said.
Victoria smiled, not the sly, knowing smile from in the briefing room, but a genuine smile. "Because I enjoy it. I'm what some people might call... exceptional. I've extensively studied history, science, advanced mathematics.. you get the idea. It's all very fascinating, but to tell you the truth I enjoyed the more esoteric classes I was involved in. Firearm practice, self-defence, investigation and forensics, psychology. I want to be in the field - I can't truly challenge myself in a laboratory or lecture room. This is exciting and exhilarating."
"A police Officer doesn't think of themselves as better than anyone, we're public servants, we answer to the Law and stand for the little people, look."
"Darling, spare me the speech," she said. Despite that, the other woman continued lecturing.
"Protect and serve, that means everyone, Rich or Poor, Stupid or clever, Vampire, Lycan or Human, without prejudice or favor. I've been a Cop for years now, and that's how i get through everyday, all the drunks, the fights, the chases and everything else our job entails. Treat everyone the same and its with respect to their rights and the Law when on duty, nothing else. Right here an now, we're all equal, just cadets looking to get into a new job."
"It's not that I don't respect your experience, but I can handle myself. I've never lived my life to serve other people and I don't particularly intend to start now. As for thinking myself superior than other people... well, in some ways I am," she stepped out of the shower and began drying herself.
"I am capable of so much more than most people, I have always been expected to perform above and beyond. I do not have the luxury of failing like nobodies from the streets." Then she paused and sighed, speaking softly as if lost in some memory, "Not that my family were ever satisfied. At least this time I disappoint them, it's actually for myself."
Blinking, she realised she had been thinking aloud and looked away. Her serious tone returned. "In order to succeed in a hazardous career such as this, one must be able to perform up to demands. Failure isn't an option. I know what the risks are and I'm fully qualified for this. I'm no liability to you or any other future colleagues, I pull my weight. It's that venomous street urchin who'll be a detriment to this team, mark my words. How someone like that ever wormed their way into a position as important as this is beyond my comprehension."
The woman listened to her, although what she was thinking was difficult to ascertain. She smiled at Victoria and extended her hand, "I didn't catch your name."
Victoria accepted the handshake and firmly shook. "My name is Victoria Summers, it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance," she said, a line she'd gotten used to saying a lot in life when introduced to the various upper echelons of society. She was starting to realise that people didn't have much respect for etiquette around here, it was shameful. She was about to ask the woman's name when the street urchin who'd threatened her entered the locker room, and she glared at her over Sandra's shoulder.

Morgan shrugged her shoulders, then grinned and she said to Anton, "See ya later." That vampire guy was kind of cool, he acted more normal than the others did, thought Morgan. She continued her way to the women's locker room.
When she entered the locker room, she saw the death glare of Victoria. Morgan ignored her, she walked further towards her locker almost at the end of the room. She was freezing, she was happy when she saw some dry and new clothes in her locker. Morgan quickly took off her soaked clothes and putted on her new uniform.

Cade had studied enough German in school to understand the song the male vampire was singing as he passed him in the hallway. And he had also studied enough history to know that it was a nazi anthem. He said nothing to the vampire, but filed that little tidbit of information away in his mind under "potentially useful things".
The only other person in the locker room when Cade entered was the human who had pinched out Morgan's cigarette earlier. Cade never caught his name but that whole incident had been pretty funny to watch unfold. Silently he put on his sweatshirt and pants and then turned to face the human.
"Name's Cade Harlock. Nice to meet you, but I don't think I caught your name in the waiting room." he said, extending his hand in greeting.
