Thanks in part to our fine member, Admiral9, who converted the file to video and uploaded it to the site's channel for me, I would like to present to you, the first game intro on the site to be video-media-based. More information on the setting and game will follow soon.
An IC game where a player controls a noble house in a fictional high medieval setting with little to no fantasy elements, much like our former game, Rat and Dragon, but based off of a computational battle engine, mechanics and a GM. It's been under rather clandestine development since august, 2014, and due for release around the first week of February. More videos, text updates and commentaries will follow as we near release date.
(Any comments would be appreciated)

First, cool idea with the video entry. Although the words are a bit hard to read because of the size of the font, you can easily just zoom in I guess.
Second, I have questions:
1. Rudar, Rudar, where have I heard that name before...I think the name is part of LOTR lore and you may already know that, just wanted to point that out. Actually come to think of it I think its spelled differently in LOTR
2. I could have sworn you first said it was going to be a sort of dark ages themed game, then early medieval, and now high medieval...am I missing something or are all those completely different things?
3. Does this setting have anything at all to do with that pike and shot setting we talked about that one time a few months ago?

As you already know I'm interested in this. I'll be getting fully back into the mood for politicking, guile and swordplay in the next few months leading up to the new season of Game of Thrones.
Though as aforementioned on skype, I can't reasonably commit to this while still participating in Legacy of the Jedi and Shadow War. I advise everyone else to allocate their time wisely when joining all of these new games in planning, especially those members who are currently involved in one or both of the active roleplays.

Does this setting have anything at all to do with that pike and shot setting we talked about that one time a few months ago? Rudaur and Rhudor, yes, the comparison is uncanny. It's actually named after a never-used area in Infernal Design's Kinval, which I wrote after someone mispronounced "Eriador" (also lotr) and it sounded like "Roo-dour" which sounded cool. 2: The settings are easily confused. Dark Ages/early medieval plays heavily into the world's culture and feel, but the tech level is more high medieval (between Hastings and the battle of the Golden Spurs, roughly. So Crusades era.) with a heavy Holy Roman Empire feel. 3: No, I decided to not do that right now, but we could definitely revive that at some point in the future. Darko I know, hence why this will start in 20 or so days, (partially so I can give you a lot of info over time without bombarding you with it) allowing me to (probably) finish Star Wars, thus freeing me up for only Shadow War, which shouldn't be too much of a problem, and Sythin, which also shouldn't be much of an issue, as they're both going on right now and may very well be approaching their end dates when this launches.

I'd really, really not want to assault Edinburgh castle. Standing at the parliament building, looking up at it, is bloody intimidating.
